I am going to find out who keeps doing the quest where the dracnari invade the Mesa, come to your house, and suck out your soul like a Dementor. Then I will sit down next to the soulless husk of your body and weep and weep and weep.

There is the third or fourth time I've tried to do the Hand quest and that dracnari thing kills all the lucidians.

Then, uh, do the other side of the quest as a temporary preventative?

You've got to kill the bulk of Gaudiguch. Add everyone who shows up in Politics as getting the epic quest done to your hit list. Their friends probably helped.

Well, there's a difference between people doing it for the epic leg, and people spamming it every time it is up, which is what I think Arel's problem is. Though, really, the nomad camp gets it just as bad sometimes. Look at it this way, it pays shop taxes. And at least its a more elegant hindering than dip-poops killing quest mobs.

Empowering the Font lasts 8 hours. So if someone is getting the 500 power there is no reason other than a bug that others should not be getting prophecies. Since the moon phase that you do the empowering is 7 hours long and the full moon is 1 hour long for a total of 8 hours, which again is how long the Font stays empowered.

I suppose there could also just be the person doing the prophecy has no clue what they are doing and screwing it up on their own.

Basically the Spear takes a variable amount of time to reset. Sometimes it doesn't even reset from the previous Full Moon blessing in time for the next Full Moon. So, when someone blesses the font during Waxing Crescent... no chance.

And it's been bugged (the Spear reset time - unless it shouldn't be able to be blessed during Crescent? We know it can't be blessed during Waning).

People only do this out of lack of knowledge/awareness. It's only annoying because it's happened a number of times.

What Solanis says. If you empower during Waxing Crescent you waste the moon cycle. If not, there'd be no issue, because it would actually doing the majority of the work for someone. This has been six or seven times, though, that people have missed it because someone just does it for lols.
