I suddenly have the urge to develop loose cannon tendencies.

At least you have a zerg rush of newbies/"new" (read: alt) characters. It's boring over in Celest... we get maybe three or four newbies in a weave.

I want newbies to teach. sad.gif

Alliances are often made out of the necessity for survival. When it comes down to it, that's the most important thing. It's why even Mag and Celest allied against a similar Seren/Glom alliance for a time.

No, in Gaudiguch's case, it's because it started off as Mag V2.

Uh, Celest needed -someone- competent to defend them. That person is Shuyin.

Uh no, In fact we had treaties being arranged with Serenwilde, Celest and Magnagora from the start. It had nothing to do with Mags in Gaudiguch (especially since there was more non Mags in leadership and in the city in general)

There is no room for logic in this forum, sir.

Where's the arranged treaty with Glom? SW and Gaudi had treaties being enacted because their leadership mostly came from SW, and Mag and Gaudi had treaties enacted because many high-profile Mags also moved to Gaudi.

From Glom's POV, Gaudi started raiding Glom / attacking our domoths with mag as soon as the firemags got their triggers and aliases set up (tongue.gif), so I think it's a fair statement to make coming from Glom. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's how things got off on the wrong foot. Otherwise, pretty sure Glom wouldn't have given a damn about Gaudi.

Looks like we're gonna have to jump!

SW went into a treaty with Gaudiguch because Rhaell wanted to... at least, I can recall talking about it during some HoN games with Lusternians. It was mostly out of nowhere and I'm not sure it had full Circle approval.

Wait, we're allied with Glomdoring? wtf.gif I thought that was just a standard non-aggression thing. The Star Council doesn't make full treaty text available through CHELP anymore.

I guess it doesn't really matter. What number non-aggro pact are we on now? Five?

By your own logic we could then be Serenwilde 2.0 or Celest 2.0 as most of our city came from those two orgs and we were working on treaties with them.

We had Glomdoring declared as hostile before anyone even set foot on domoth territory, from about the point that glom was defending Hallifax on and that was right from the start that we went a raiding.

No, that's wrong. Rhaell almost ruined any chance of the treaty going through actually. We had from when Sarrasri was CL on been working on a treaty with them. It was Sadie mostly who was instrumental in getting the treaty finally dealt with.
