You writhe in pain as you fall to level 98.
You sigh in frustration as you fall to the level of Lord of Creation.
Eh. Not even mad or anything about it, at least. Just kinda 'meh, oh well'.

I knew I should have been resurgeming random people tonight. That sucks.

I really, really, really wish They would just make Forging a generally available tradeskill so that I can take it up, buy a mallet, and stock my own shop. Even if I can't use the trans skill because I don't wear armour, I would still really want to get it. I mean, if warriors can take up Tailoring cause they want to without gaining from the Trans skill, why can't I with Forging?

Maybe you should just subcontract someone in your forging cartel?

For much the same reasons that warriors can't be alchemists or enchanters: a wizard did it.
Xiel2010-07-09 07:02:15
Still want it.

Everyone but monks has a trade skill that is unique(ish) to them.
Also, who has two thumbs and forges for free?

That is some decent logic there.

Ugh, I have a mallet and I forge for no cost. But only for city-mates and people I like. (And I like you. )

I like that time of night where you are just tired enough to read things wrong.. like Ilyarin's title. I read it as: Sir Ilyarin, the Golden Innuendo.

Getting enemied to orgs you don't touch is really, really, really obnoxious. I'm currently sitting on three illegitimate enemy statuses, and two of the orgs look like they're refusing to acknowledge their mistakes.
I mean, really. If you're a Celestian, do you believe Inagin's enemy statuses? If you're Magnagoran, do you believe Malarious? If you're Glom, do you believe Celina?

Not really, but it's a lot less hassle to ignore it and just set a lowish fine when they're not paying attention.
On a related skein, I'm sitting on a fine for Lisaera's order I just can't build the funds for, and I'm not sure if anyone is even around to talk to about it any more. I'll freely admit that it was a legitimate reason for me to be enemied at the time, I just don't have the income needed to pay big fines.

I'm still looking for people to die mining Angkrag into a 3d shape of a Duck.
That way, we can lure the Purple Duck into the mines. Beforehand, we etch various things that the duck would naturally be attracted to, algae, fish, butter, and so on into the walls. Because the duck would be attracted to such things, and the walls would be painted purple, the duck would feel at home. Being an illusionary creature, it is partially spiritual in nature. Therefore, it will be weak enough to be absorbed by the "hole" the mine has, and the duck will then possess the mine, regardless of it's will. The mine being essentially a giant, soulless golem that's duck shaped. It'd be like a puzzle sucking the last piece of the puzzle into place.
From there, we can use the mine like a giant vodun doll and either capture it once and for all, or kill it through dreamweaving and magic.

A bone shark opens his massive maw and bites down hard on your arm.
A bone shark crashes headlong into you with the weight of his entire body.
A bone shark shears through the water and past you, causing the waters to churn in a mass of bloody red froth as he neatly carves a huge chunk of meat out of you.

Always a good idea to look before you leap, so to speak, and I'm sure dozens of people would advise you on what's dangerous and what's not.
Xiel, stop OCD'ing over skills and artifacts you just can't have.
I'm sad that there was no second prize for the Death challenge last night. I feel like the ultimate basher, except when I have to compete with a monk.
