Siam, you should typo the first verb in that description... "caved" should be "carved."

This figurine was caved entirely of black, glossy obsidian, chipped in irregular geometric facets that were smoothed carefully to give it a chitinous, insect-like appearance. It depicts an amorphous mound, black and surrounded by a spiraling swarm of tentacles that spread out, hanging like a spider's legs and supporting the entire figurine. It moves faintly, swaying like grass on its spindly pseudopods.
It has 443 months of usefulness left.
It appears to be of level 30.
It appears to have 44 sparkleberry grasped in its little hands.
It is wrapped in a miniature cloak, which appears to have 50 uses left.
Glowing script covers its small form, indicating 39 uses left.
It weighs about 31 pounds.

I will find you, Kethuru sketch.

Is that a figurine??? I didn't realize they gain levels.

They can gain / lose levels as they fight. They also gain decay time as they fight.

Are there any active fighting rings? I'd like to give this a whirl.
Llesvelt2010-07-11 14:54:53
I just thought about something.

If the secret societies aspect of Gaudiguch is pulled of awesomely, nobody will actually know unless they are in those secret societies.

So for all we know, Gaudiguch could be festering with secret socities right now.

They're often in manses (there's one in Starhaven) and you can get an artisan to build you one.

I assure you that there are definitely no secret societies in Gaudiguch yet. ninja.gif

Is it likely that the Crow doll will be retired soon?

Eventually people bailing org or just talking about it to OOC friends would leak it out though. And by eventually I mean within a couple of weeks, depending on the size of the society.

You know what, I totally agree. That IS unfair. Let's fix your skills this instant.

Hekoskeri nerf thx.

I am glad you agree. I mean, don't get me wrong I am glad that you got some fixes to your skills. I am annoyed though that the administration took an active role in a thread to fix things you didn't require to be fully functional in combat, but ignore any request that the Illuminati have made to fix something that is required to make them fully functional in combat.

Being able to recall your entourage is a staple of any guild/class that has an entourage. Being forced to wait 2 months to have that ability is just ridiculous, especially when they are obviously not above fixing things for the new guilds via forum threads. Maybe if the thread for Illuminati had been more passionate, emotional and 17 pages long the administration would have taken a harder look, but I tried taking the reasonable approach and just asking nicely.

As for your attempt at snarkiness at the end, hekoskeri is already nerfed, just like all the other ents. Buy a gust enchantment and use it, then kill the ents as you like. You can do this as often as you like, because we can't recall them to do anything about it and given the complaints I hear from guild members, after they have sparred people, this is a pretty valid tactic already in use.

A couple weeks? That seems rather generous.

I was an dwarf druid for some time.

Hey, try ORDER HESOKARI (whatever) FOLLOW ME. one alias that will spam the order is barely harder typing ENT CALL

I would actually be kind of disappointed if Gaudiguch secret societies tried to take themselves too seriously. I envision them being the sort of thing people start/take part in just for the thrill of being in a secret society, and people even join multiple ones with different goals. An actually serious attempt at a secret org is just destined to fail though, especially with forums/aim/ooc clans.

I would be disappointed if just taking themselves seriously or just not taking themselves seriously was the only layer of the secret.

Hallifax needs to get a city executioner. It can brainwash you or jettison you from the city or something.

... because we don't already have that alias figured out, which is fine and dandy for cases where you only have to deal with 1 person and 1 room move, but that is not always the case in combat.

Like what happens if I need to tumble out of the room? I am hardly going to rush back in and say 'Hey I know I just tumbled out, but I need my ents, pardon me a moment while I just collect them then I will leave the room again and we can pretend this never happened."

You should know very well that losing ents and having to recall them is a common occurrence and trying to say "oh just make an alias" is at best ridiculous.
