That was a different time. Krellan gusted someone into cursed armours in the Chancel on the day it opened, and he got punished for it. Hasn't happened since (though it did happen some few times previously, which is all I can imagine Gregori is referring to).

I think the spring traps in Southgard was something else, not entirely sure what happened there, but it wasn't Krellan.

Moral of the story: Avenger avoidance is bad, and I've yet to see anyone lie their way out of it successfully since it's usually pretty clear.

Unless you're claiming there's been something since, which... I don't really see them letting him get away with given his history with the thing (and they also tend to judge these cases based on prior history; if you have a history of bad behaviour they're even less likely to be lenient).

Anyway, to put a more positive spin on my previous comment. It is nice that at least Phoebus seems to get some much needed gunner training. One thing that never works out well is always using the same for the same positions. Because then, you'll end up very locked in crew selections. As long as you have at least one shockwaver, and someone to cure the shocking of the chair, you should be fine.

No, I am not referring to those times before. The fact you don't know what I am referring to really doesn't concern me, what you don't know doesn't automatically mean it never happened and if it never happened I wouldn't have said he lied his way out of it.
