I was talking about denizens, hunnybuns. Anyway I get enough "lol ur souch a coward!!" in-game. The 'you're a big chicken!' routine stopped working on me in fifth grade.

If it's you who are being affected by the insult (even if it's to ignore it) you're doing it wrong.

...giggle at realising I have great grandkids I've never met or heard of. Sadface at them being in Glomdoring so likelihood of awesome family roleplay = slim.
While this is true in a sense since Gyme and Ilaira have been inactive over the holiday season, don't take this as reason not to try at all!

I used to be a member of Glomdoring, actually. Sadly, I never actually enjoyed myself so I went back to Magnagora.

I plan to, promise! One of my great loves for IRE games, especially Lusternia, is the family system/roleplay, so I'll certainly try. It's simply unfortunate that they're in the one place I can't really interact with them overmuch for now, though the new cities and moving around is making it easier!

Judging by the number I did kill, with the number of people I had chasing me... yeah, I think I came out well on top. But no, I was referring to how both organizations spillith over with the dregs and would-be leaders who couldn't pass muster in the others and are poisoning these with their incompetancy. It's no big deal for Gaudi with their insane skills and demigod transplants, but I predict that Hallifax will struggle with Glomdoring Syndrome for several years before being able to stand on its own.
Any idiot can one-shot extremely low level mobs, run, and eventually hide in a peaced room. This is no great feat...especially when you're dealing with new people who don't understand their skills, so use effects which hinder the effort to stop the aggressor (Mirage, for example).
"Kick-run" raids are common place, and have been done pretty much since open beta. Also, recent testing with the Pyromancy demense, if you actually -have- cure lines...the meld by itself isn't all that horrible. Probably worse than a Geomancer demesne, but certainly curable.
Unknown2009-12-30 11:07:10
It wasn't so much a "kick and run" and a "kill fifteen denizens and run" - well, more like five for Gaudiguch, cause they've got fighters who know to do more than spam teleport/summon and hope that for some reason it goes through. What I did wasn't impressive but neither was your defence.
But that wasn't my point. My point was... urgh no one cares what my point was, but let's just say I'm having many lols over here.

You should find out yourself! Ask your mates, not the forums!
We never know how much to answer, though. What constitutes a "hint" is slippery and ill-defined; I've gotten smacked down for answering questions as innocuous as this one before, but I was also ordered once by a god to post a quest walk-through to the order news. Sometimes it seems safest to fly in the face of in-character motivations and give no hints at all, other than to novices for novice quests.

What mates. Everyone I've asked don't know or won't share.
But as I said, I'll figure it out. I'll just have to find the time and a non-laggy connection.

I would like to see you try to catch someone who doesn't want to be caught in Hallifax. I also don't see why you would do that, other than to be an annoyance.

Hooray for events which are winnable only by demigods - by which I mean, all events. The only people who get prizes are those who don't need them.

Wow, where did you get THAT preposterous idea? It's not like it works that way for EVERY GAME EVER EVER, seriously? Can you name a system that can exist were powergamers can't win all the time?
Unknown2010-01-01 00:54:12
Hmm, how about any system ever that rewards intelligence or effort rather than sheer statistical or monentary superiority?
Plenty of games - most successful ones, really - have mechanics in place to reduce the impact of powergaming and reward casual players. Just look at World of Warcraft.

To totally subvert your WoW example, fights between equally levelled and geared characters might be a battle of talents, but the disparity between level + gear in WoW is much, much higher than the disparity between level + credits in Lusternia.
For example, that influence event that was just held? No real demigod advantage.
