hmm, is there a black spy running about?
Furien2009-07-03 21:17:31
1960's? Pfft. Unless someone is willing to break out a lie detector and analyze his post (which is pretty forward with the claim) I'm willing to believe Shamarah.
Daganev2009-07-03 21:22:40
It started in the 1960s but its very much a current thing. (though probably more popular in the 90s)

Hrm. I don't think I buy the claim though. Spy vs Spy doesn't really fit into things. Everything else seen so far has been off of Cartoon Network. Does anyone else have a role not on Cartoon Network?

I had already claimed day one. If I was roleblocked on night one, it would have been the action of a scum. We already have Kiriwe as a roleblocker, she wouldn't roleblock me. It would be Xikue.
I need to clarify: should I have gotten a notification message saying "your protect was successful" or "your protect was unsuccessful"? For night one.
For my protect and boost to not go through, either I got roleblocked, or Shiri got prison-napped.
Nevertheless, Vote Xikue.

PM Casilu directly, Solanis. I haven't gotten messages though.
I blocked Llandros the first day because I was suspicious of his tone. After his complaint the first day and seeing how he showed a fair lack of caution, I assumed he was town and moved on. Because my power is the way it is, my ideal target would be those like Edward Elric. I never considered Solanis as a target.

Edward Elric had no powers, so why would he have been your ideal target?

Because roleblocking and protecting is best done on someone with no powers.

No wonder I always get things confused in these things. I always hoped my town roleblocker would try to block someone who had an ability to use at night and not try to roleblock someone who had no powers ....

The problem is when they're done at the same time. You don't want to protect scum, but you don't want to roleblock a doctor.

Bali had a role that wasn't on cartoon network...
Dugan2009-07-04 00:29:38
I forgot about him. A close knock off to Harvey Birdman at best ...
Dugan2009-07-04 01:38:46
Well, I will say that I don't believe Xikue. To me, she is coming off as if she is hiding something, as if she is not being completely honest with her claim. Shamarah ... I believe him more than I believe Xikue.
Still, I think we can move forward. I am going to
VOTE: Rika.
I mean please, is she even playing this game? I know I have lurked before in games, but I don't think I ever managed to have the thread go to 47 pages and only have 14 votes.

Actually scratch that ... hang on.

UNVOTE: Rika
VOTE: Xikue
Kiriwe was a roleblocker and was town. Xikue claims roleblocker and town. Even with this size ... two roleblockers as town ... on top of the fact that everyone has a 25% chance to avoid a night kill. No ... I don't buy it at all. She said she blocked Llandros on night one, but didn't gave a name for the second night ... seems too off for me.

There's only five main town role types: protective (doctors), investigative (cops), communicators (masons), killers (vigs), and roleblockers. Roleblockers has the least variants: straight roleblocker, and jailkeeper. In a game this size, especially considering that we all have a better-than-doctor passive nightkill avoidance chance, a roleblocker and a jailkeeper doesn't seem unreasonable.
Xavius2009-07-04 01:50:55
That's so typo-ridden. Horrible parallel structure to boot. Gah. Must not edit.
Casilu2009-07-04 01:52:09
One correction, Xavius, I've heard of there being a reflexive roleblocker before.

Oh, yeah, I suppose there are the nightkill immune and such, and I suppose those're roleblockerish.

Actually, it was just a reflexive roleblocker, so they would block any action against them.
Shiri2009-07-04 02:44:33
So...what's the plan?
