I too will concede the oddity that is Myrkr's mind and Dr. Wierd sometimes. Unvote

However, FoS on Bali for the series of random empty posts. We seem to like going after lurkers, and he knows this, so anything to raise his own post count frivolously should be suspect.
Unknown2009-06-23 17:24:53
Yes. I am raising my post count through meaningless posts because then people wont suspect me of lurking.

You're on to my super secret plan.

Vote: Silferras
Llandros2009-06-23 17:34:25
Why Silferas?

This is silly and overly jumpy. Unvote, Vote: Aerotan

Because Silferras was the first to suggest it, Aerotan is just following his master's bidding.

VOTE BALI

Mafia games don't need trolls.
Unknown2009-06-23 17:38:36
Trolling is a valid scumhunting method!

I don't see how.
Unknown2009-06-23 17:50:38
I recall Bali being somewhat opposed to mafia play style on the Lusternian forums. He's likely just poking fun at this reliance on the post count to determine whether or not one is a lurker.

It means that Bali is being a troll, and is bored and is trying his hardest to annoy people.
Llandros2009-06-23 18:03:12
Bali can have a very Bali-centric play style but he did have a point about Silferas.

On the otherhand unhelpful townies are unhelpful.

Also, Unvote

What point? There is no point about Silfferas...
Aerotan2009-06-23 18:39:45
Meh, I win with town, and I'll get that out of the way.

As far as my FoSing Bali, Silferras may have pointed it out, but I reached my own conclusions. And while they do make me suspicious of you, you will note that I don't count it as enough to actually vote for you, for what that's worth. Discussing whether or not you're inflating your post counts for your own purposes or to avoid suspicion is, I think, a WIFOM argument I don't want to get into.

So far no one else is really standing out to me, so I'll have to just sit back and watch.

Entirely untrue, I'm just enjoying myself and not taking this game too seriously because I know there will be a ton of power roles and the outcome will be heavily influenced by random powers over logical, straight-forward play.

You call it trolling, I call it baiting. And I've had a few good bites so far imo:

Does anyone else get the feeling that Bali is trying to inflate his post count?

Anyway, I'm off to bed for now, so 'night!

Asinine logic. I'm posting fluff to increase my post count so in later arguements I can point back to my non-posts to say what an active participant in the debate I was? Lol. Right. Aerotan jumps on this wobbly logic:

And Daganev is more than content to start an ad-hominem campaign against me, merely saying the game doesnt need trolls, not even bothering to say if I'm scum or not. He would just rather repeat over and over that I'm a "troll".

Because you are acting like a troll.

Normally, people just look at the list of players and see who is posting less than the mod. They don't really think about if those posts have content or not. So just posting, random junk will affect if your name comes up on the "list of lurkers". However, this won't happen if someone brings attention to it, and so they did. Nobody voted you for it, they just brought it to public attention. Nobody has bit anything.
Unknown2009-06-23 20:07:47
I'm spicing things up.

LOL@Your logic. "List of lurkers" like people cannot distinguish someone who is posting legitimately and people who are active-lurking.

Sometimes enjoying a game, is more important than winning a game....
I take that back. It's always more important.
