That's actually super simple to explain since you quoted me. You'll notice in the first quote I say, "I'm okay with a mass claim". Mass is the key word. When I started to get targeted specifically with no promise of information being given in return, I start getting suspicious. I'm still for a mass claim. If you all want to, lets go.

It's not about hiding anything from townies. It's all about giving up my information for whatever scum/SK's/anything else nefarious we haven't discovered yet so that they know exactly who I am without them at the very least having to make up a plausible lie about their role. If I just claim, they know everything about me, and we have still zero chance for trying to catch them up in a role lie.

And there are only three others who haven't revealed their name yet. You won't be catching anyone with double-claims either, as we already have more than one investigator (Siam, Llandros, Dugan and Shaddus) and at least two boosters (Aerotan and Solanis).

Can you clarify? I'm not making the mental leap between you quoting Kira trying to convince me to claim and Shaddus being a good target. I'm not saying he might not be, I'm just confused.

My only issues with what Llandros got back from investigating Shaddus:

1. Positive or negative wording, we have to assume those percentages are garbage. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I don't think they can give any indication on how likely someone is/isn't something.
2. It said 50% Shaddus is mafia. As far as I can tell so far, we've only had SKs, and the theory has been somewhat established that there might not be a mafia, just SKs. So, maybe his 50% mafia means 50% antagonists/anti-town, or maybe it's just to mislead.

It may be. But frankly, Shaddus isn't really participating, it's a good enough hint as any that we have so far, and this day is starting to stretch into infinity. Vote: Shaddus

Well, I was behind lynching Shaddus before and I still am, so I'll go ahead and unvote vote: shaddus. Still strongly we recommend we go for Xiran tomorrow though.

Oh, but I don't think we should pay the percentages any heed, only the Mello result and behaviour throughout the game. (I don't think Kira is scum based on her result either, although her misrepresentation of the fact is still very worth noting.)
