I realise it wasn't exactly obvious for most of the game since we have a whole 3 SKs in addition to the regular scum, but I can't help but think that the mafia would be likely to want to get that information out of the way.

Me would have at least made sense if your role and actual appraisal of the town was what was claimed. Allergic would also have made sense because I suspect he's the last scum after you by process of elimination (could also be Myrkr though...at a stretch.)

Good question as to why you'd argue that! It's making more sense that the two scum roles are identical. But it would have at least made me consider it more than the quibbling "my claim isn't the same! I'm town and he isn't!" Well DUH.

You're not going to gain any new information by lynching me. You have (at least) two scum left to remove and I'm not one of them.

It's true that we don't get any information by lynching you other than that you're scum, but that's true of everyone except Dugan (has effects on Shamhat's role and Kira's) and Kira. But it would be dumb to lynch them at this stage, you're much scummier.

My blocking Shamarah just means he didn't use a night-skill. And Dugan gets the flavour of a role. Shamarah claimed to be a survivor himself after Xavius posited he was one. In short, he's not clear of anything.

Dugan didn't get the flavour of a role. He got that Shamarah "wins when someone else meets their win condition."
