So, since this movie is directed by the same guy who brought us Unbreakable, Signs, and Sixth Sense... I'm guessing that at the end of the movie we discover that really, he isn't the last airbender!

Or that there are no Airbenders and he's been dead since the beginning of the movie.

Nah, he has the scar. Look at the second picture more closely. It's just not as pronounced as it is in the show because... this is live action, not anime.

It might even look more pronounced by the time the movie airs in the theatres.

Either way, looking forward to this. Shame, I should be in Europe when it comes out, it probably wont release at the same time with my luck. sad.gif

the pics were...a bit disappointing...the costumes look too plastic(for me) his pose is off(he could've done better) since he looks like he was just posing for the camera, I prefer my movie pics/stills/shots to suggest frozen motion - they're frozen and yet they seem to be able to move at any moment...anyway, that was just me and my opinion...i might watch it! (the cartoon was good!) biggrin.gif

Definitely watching it. My biggest issue with criticisms for these types of films is that fans of the source material are waaaaaay too critical. For example, the air should be blue... man, think about how that would actually look for a moment.

Those are "on site pics" (meaning, they are just pictures that some guy took on the set)
So, they arn't touched up and polished like actual release pictures.

Its amazing how different a movie looks/sounds after postproduction, even without "special affects"

The costumes probabbly look "too plastic" because they are! Ever seen the startrek equipment upclose?
