Daganev wanting Furien dead and turning out to be scum doesn't prove anything at all. Both scum and town want a cult dead. The main thing we have to decide is whether we trust Furien's claims that it's a pro-town cult. It would be nice if we had more information on Ayisdra, since he hasn't been cleared... and a random-kill power could have very easily killed a town (moreso, seeing as how there are more of us). As for the Dugan/Silferras fingerpointing, yes, they are both trying to twist the vote trains for their own purposes. But seeing as how we have only one confirmed scum so far, we don't have much to base our suspicions on beyond looking at who voted when and why.

Which is why Zynna should die. She hasn't had an original thought yet this game, and most of her mental faculties were handed over to our one confirmed scum, who, for the record, has not made a lick of sense.
Zynna2009-08-10 19:48:55
That's absurd.

I'm going to be out of town for a couple of days and will have limited access to the interwebs.
Dugan2009-08-11 20:46:41
Echo echo echo ... why'd everyone stop talking?
Furien2009-08-12 01:08:50
Conversation sorta spiraled down and we're not willing to lynch anyone at this point.

We had Daganev but fortunately and unfortunately he died. He was our main drama. sad.gif
Zynna2009-08-12 02:05:21
Yeah, I say either Ayisdra or another one who hasn't said much

You really want to go after me? It is implied (unless someone has something to fully prove it for you 'invest or he is lieing' people) that I'm town.

What do you mean by this? 'Implied' triggers all sorts of alarms in my head. You either are or you're not. Other than that, I think the main issue here is Rika's claim that she unfroze someone on night 1, while you claimed that you can only freeze someone once. Either we have another freezing power out there, or someone is lying.
Zynna2009-08-12 13:01:15
It's not implied at all that you're town. We have your word, but the fact remains:

(1) You used a random killing power at the slightest pressure without discussing it with anyone
(2) You froze someone who is not frozen just at night but all day, which hurts us.
(3) Rika says she unfroze someone the night before, whereas you claim it's a one-time power

I'm still suspicious of Rika, which makes (3) a bit weaker in my eyes, but the other facts with your behavior and the powers seem to suggest you might not be, at least enough that you
re not implied town.
Unknown2009-08-12 13:34:02
Maybe this was already mentioned - I looked but didn't see it - but who was the person Rika unfroze?

Dunno because she unfroze them before day began.
Dugan2009-08-12 17:19:05
I am going to

UNVOTE:
VOTE: Zynna

She was one of the people who defended Dag. All she really did was to re-hash what he was saying. Pressure votes for Ayisdra aren't really needed anymore and I doubt we would get the votes needed for a lynch.

1. She used a random power when at eight votes. It stopped her from being lynched and ended the day. When should she have done it ... when she was one vote from the lynch?
2. She froze Shaddus ... really, no big loss. He always lurks and very rarely provides anything new himself.
3. We've only had one night.
Xavius2009-08-12 17:32:45

Kiradawea2009-08-12 17:36:31
You guys want a votecount?
Dugan2009-08-12 18:12:21
Vote count couldn't hurt.
Unknown2009-08-12 19:37:02
We've had two nights, no?

FURTHERMORE.

I dislike Ayisdra since he hasn't really given us anything to 'imply/prove' that he is town, but continues to claim to be town. That is, a random kill power points towards town (since scum wouldn't risk killing their own), but he could also just as easily be a rogue. Since we only have 2 confirmed rogues (unless we count Furien as rogue, in which case we should probably lynch him soon...).

That said, Zynna's single-mindedness towards Ayisdra is pretty suspicious, too. I mean, I didn't think she was just hopping on the Daganev train earlier because most of her posts seem fairly well thought out and she's generally been helpful in summarizing, etc. But now I'm starting to suspect her more. So, vote: Zynna.

You admit that I've been genreally helpful, but because I name a target after we seemed to have stalled, you suspect me? What else am I supposed to do? If we don't name a target, we just sit here stalling. We need movement. And I said that we should look either at Ayisdra OR at the more quieter people. And then I refuted a point that Ayisdra made that he is "inferred" town (and was not the only one to object to that language).

Suspicious people to me are Furien (pro town or not), Ayisdra (not really town powers in my opinion and weird reaction to pressure), Xavius (first says he doesn't like emotional arguments then does nothing but make emotional, unsubstantiated arguments against me). If the quiet people spoke up, probably I would find some of them suspicious. *shrug*

I expected to be looked when Daganev was revealed as scum because I did agree with his logic. And I think he was playing it smart. He did not try and use bad logic to convince others, but rather looked at where people were being inconsistent and exploited that. However, I expected that examination to be more reasoned rather than just name calling (Dag's puppy) and for trying to move the ball forward by naming my suspects.
Unknown2009-08-12 21:53:25
Aysidra and Zynna don't look too scummy at the moment, so I'm going to turn on the quiet people again.
*prods Ilyarin* You never explained that Wind power.
And I think it would help if Rika named her target.
