After being led in circles around Magnagora by a rambling Geomancer, this happened:

You say to Shasura, "So, what are we doing exactly?"
Apprentice Shasura whispers, "Vvvvvvrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmm."

Best. Batshit. Geomancer. EVER.

Aww my kiddo smile.gif (pretty sure I taught her what vroom meant lol)

(clan): Vathael says, "Woot bird strippers."

I still can't figure out why Shasura is in Magnagora. If she's the one I'm thinking of, anyway.

Razenth tells you, "I'm just enamoured with tentacles :|."

Context won't help you make sense of this...

Is that a stupidity line? Because that could totally be a stupidity line. "I like cheese!" is so overused.

No offense, Razenth. happy.gif

Dynami is right. Context wouldn't help.

(CLAANNN): Fania says, "Cause the Byrd is the Wyrd?"
Arix2010-07-08 07:36:12
that doesn't actually rhyme
Unknown2010-07-08 07:45:00
It does to those of us who pronounce wyrd as word instead of weird.

Hey. If people can pronounce Tae'dae as tie-dye then I can pronounce wyrd as word tongue.gif

I -think- it actually is pronounced that way (like 'wurd'). Or that's what wiktionary seems to suggest.
Arix2010-07-08 08:15:41
I pronounce it as 'weird', irregardless *dodge Eventru*

Well, neither "weird" or "word" really pronounces the "r", while "wyrd" does. Can't think of any American pronounciation that actually uses "r", but I guess a person with a heavy scottish accent pronouncing "weird" would come rather close... At least that's how I picture it, considering it makes comparisons to both German and Norse words in the Wiktionary.

EDIT:
Pronounciation key for "wyrd": "/wyrd/"
Pronounciation key for "word" (US style): "/wɝd/"
Pronounciation key for "weird" (US style): "/wiÉšd/"

I giggled when I first heard Shiri say it tie-dye.
Arix2010-07-08 10:07:57
I pronounce it 'tay-day' for some reason
