Too bad Imperian sucks.
If Stavenn didn't require taxes to be paid, I probably would have liked it more.

It lacks the close-knit community feeling that Lusternia has.
And demigods, and awesome admins(who 'tolerate' shout wars), and basically everything that makes us all stick to Lusternia!

Eh heh heh, right... we all "stick" to this game.
I do like Lusternia better than any of the others, though. I keep coming back to this one, whereas the others are just a nice distraction if Lusty is getting too hectic or stressful for me to keep playing. I like how we have (mostly) active Divine, too. Unlike poor Imperian. I feel sorry for their Divine: sometimes, it feels like they're too crushed to even try anymore... the ones that are left, that is.
Kante2010-07-09 22:46:20
Imperian has way too many orgs, with too small of a playerbase. That's one of their main problems, I feel. And it's something I fear Lusty has done. There are several orgs with plenty of potential, but they remain vacated, with barely enough people to fill the leadership positions.
Unknown2010-07-09 22:47:31
Well, didn't they announce that some of the Imperian guilds were going to be deleted if their guild health dropped too low? I think there are like 3 or 4 guilds right now that are in the 300s range. Or did they backpedal on that?
EDIT: Also, the two cases are slightly different. In ours, it's because the Divine are making the new orgs at our prodding. In Imperian, a bunch of guilds were made directly by players. Lusternian guilds do have the potential because of that, Imperian guilds less so. I mean, some Imperian guilds are direct duplicates of other guilds when it comes to skills, like Mages/Stormweavers, Wardens/Ansheri, and Limorasi/Wytchen.

I still have no friggin' clue why I bought an artie glaive for the sole purpose of randomly bashing for a few minutes every couple months.

I only know of one guild which was deleted: Ilafaeri? Ilfaeri?
Rodngar2010-07-09 23:21:50
Ilaferi died before the charter system existed, and that was because the guild was a failure due to the demographic it targeted.
EDIT: Besides, the Ansheri later replaced it and now they're dying too!

I actually find Imperian's inactive Divine to be an asset. Tons of room for players to come up with their own stuff, even in Order RP. One of the Magick Orders was just taken over in an Anti-Magick coup (or maybe it was the other way around), which is awesome.
Really, the main reason Imperian doesn't have the draw Lusty does for -me- is that most of the playerbase here enjoys RP and thinks it's somewhat important. Over in Imperian, that is... rarer. Although it does exist, especially in Stavenn.
All about the players, for me.

Limorasi shouldn't even exist honestly. Imperian imo has never really been about the RP, it is more about the PvP and it was one reason I did not like it and very much prefer Lusty.

Sadly, my days wielding Lament as a tool to antagonize enemy orgs so I can have fun times ganking them at the expense of my city are over.
Instead I'm just going to sit around and do the one on one thing like I did before that.
