Ethelon tells you, "Pst, don't scry me, I'm busy in taking care of my Water World."

Ethelon tells you, "You are welcome to come visit."

You tell Ethelon a'Ishial, "I like being in one piece, thanks."

Ethelon tells you, "But it costs groveling."

Ethelon tells you, "Psh, as long as you intend no harm to my property in the water world, you are safe."

You tell Ethelon a'Ishial, "What is your property?"

Ethelon tells you, "Everything within the Great Starry Sea and the Lake of Dreams of course!"

You tell Ethelon a'Ishial, ">.>."

You tell Ethelon a'Ishial, "Play nicely."

Ethelon a'Ishial yells, "So how is my city of Celest doing?"

You tell Ethelon a'Ishial, "You do not own us, though you think you may."

Ethelon a'Ishial yells, "I need more of you to come visit my Water World."

You tell Ethelon a'Ishial, "// and thanks for making this game interesting."

Ethelon tells you, ":)"

Ethelon a'Ishial yells, "I will be taking a stroll through my Gardens in Celestia later if any would like to attend me."

Ethelon a'Ishial yells, "I require you to bring along a blanket."

Ethelon a'Ishial yells, "And some cheese and wine."

Ethelon a'Ishial yells, "As I like to be pampered."

Ethelon, I adore you. You make this game worth playing when you pull crap like that. smile.gif

Funnily enough, after I qq'd earlier the thought of him contesting randomly crossed my mind. I laughed and dismissed it as too Ryboi even for Ryboi.

Fate and her wicked sense of humor. freaked.gif

I approve this message.

A vote for Ryboi is a vote for fluffy bunnies! You would not vote against fluffy bunnies, would you?

There's one going on, actually two. Both for GM positions, one is drama free, the other is lol worthy. laugh.gif

If the worst of Serenwilde elections is that one candidate who tries hard just gets laughed at, then I am willing to keep that to keep the corruption away.

It wouldn't be lolworthy if the GM and GC didn't blow it out of perspective and get extremely hostile.

Sounds like you didn't get a good 3/4 of the story there.

That being said, thinking that Rodngar won't get hostile is like thinking that a tiger won't rip your face off.

Yeah there's another fellow somewhere in Africa who can walk among lions without getting eaten.

Noola2010-08-01 21:54:23
I read some study about how there are varying degrees of 'wildness' in every individual wild animal. Some are more friendly than others by nature, so you occasionally get lions who, when domesticated, will act like that instead of biting your face off. The study was about wolves though and said that an emerging theory on how dogs came to be 'man's best friend' is based on this idea that wolves and other wild canids, would be drawn to the refuse piles of early man, for the easy scavenging. Some of these wolves so on would be mean and vicious, like you expect wild animals to be. Others would be a bit friendlier, or at least not so mean. The men, they'd kill the vicious ones that threatened them, but wouldn't kill the neutral or friendly ones because 1) they didn't bother them and 2) they killed pests and other predators and so on. Soon, all that would be left coming around would be the friendlier ones, who bred with other people friendly wolves and got even friendlier due to genetics and just being around people. And so, the people and wolves made friends. The rest is history.
