I am not in any OOC clans as well.

Never have been.

Sometimes I wonder how you are inducted into those?

You know someone who wants you inducted. How do you think I got into 9?

Intimidation?

Drugging the guards?

F. All of the above.

QUOTE
(Pirates of the Hearth): Faymar says, "We are not hunting dragons. Arandor can pilot, Gero will empath after we give him some time to set up his empath reflexes, he will be fast."
-
The body of Kyoodai Gero, Apprentice of the Way appears in a flash and his soul descends to fill it, causing the previously expressionless face to fill with emotion.

Interesting. Painful, but interesting.
Esano2010-09-24 08:34:00
Depending upon the separation of time there, the "setting up his empath reflexes" may have been "switching clients/worlds to the one with his empath reflexes rather than his pilot ones".

And even then there's nothing wrong with MSNing your buddy and going 'Hey, want to aetherhunt and afk for free exp while you read a book/watch tv/etc?'

you learn fast.
Gleip2010-09-24 08:43:22
Sure. Nothing wrong. Without him joining, there wouldn't even be an aetherhunt. I just found it amusing.

QUOTE
Should the subject of a legal ageing procedure no longer satisfy the
requirements (if they should join Gaudiguch, for example) they will be
asked to submit to a reversal operation or else be charged with a
felony. The aeonics user who performed the first operation will not be
charged unless a reasonable grounds for investigation can be
established, and the investigating body finds evidence of conspiracy.

Read that while listening to this.

I found it highly awesome. It's a very different game though; there's not much shooting and fighting, but rather exploration and photographing (yes, photographing).

EDIT: Oh, and you can get it from GamersGate for €4.99 (or whatever it becomes in those dollar-things you have across the pond, if you're one of those people).
Kiradawea2010-09-25 01:31:00
Yes. Yes it is. The game is most awesomeness. Like Psychonauts and Grim Fandango. Awesomeness forgotten. Get it if you can. I'll be very surprised if you're disappointed, as long as you can get past the fact that it's a stealth game.

Definitely agree. I'm not normally into that category of games, but I really really really really liked Beyond Good & Evil. Plus, there's a sequel in the works (although no date set for release yet)...
Shiri2010-09-25 03:41:03
Warning, don't play it if you've ever had motion sickness in a game ever before. I normally only get it in shooters with bad camera mobility issues like Half Life 2 or Clive Barker's Undying or distortion effects like Amnesia, but Beyond Good & Evil had me ready to throw up in about 3 minutes thanks to the GODAWFUL world map boat system.

BAD NEWS.
Kiradawea2010-09-25 11:37:32
Yeah. Camera ain't as good as it could be, but it is worth enduring it for great characters, great story, great gameplay, killer music and CARLSOOOOOON AAAAND PEEEEETERSSSSSS!

Painted with vibrant colours, the painting has been painted by a master.
It has 184 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 37 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Matriarch Pectus Dawneye, The Wind's Musical Harmony.

Waait.. Whaaat.

We're playing around with different people taking different modules on our aetherhunts, which is causing many interesting complications. Near death, misfires, and slivven-related fatalities were had, but, I think all present would agree that this one problem takes the cake:
