On the subject of green locks, is there anything other than not having the power that prevents using green/gedulah/etc?

Mangle = How does it hinder?
Easy windpipe lock = Not really, all you have to do is prone the monk and you're already writhed out of the grapple AND senso has to hit.
Double hemi = ?
unstoppable insta kill = yeah we know, we're trying NOT to use that.

Our insta-kill requires two back to back Katas without you proning or otherwise stopping us, and requires a minimum of 10 power, so we are tapped for however long it takes to get that back.
It's not easy, only if senso hits as Ruiku said. And I have no idea what a double hemi is. But I will experiment with mangle, I truthfully don't know what mangling does.

Man you guys have it so easy compared to unartied warriors and you have absolutely no idea what you're up too. You're one of the most OP classes going, just practice.
Vathael2009-08-06 17:40:11
no balance/eq will prevent you from using green/ged therefore you could go for balance loss stacking or disruption from mactans or something though you could still concentrate unless they have confusion. does charybdon give confusion?
Ilyarin2009-08-06 18:03:11
Nope. I was looking for a confusion poison earlier when I was looking over what venoms to use. If I had found one, I'd have been very excited. Alas.
Ilyarin2009-08-06 18:14:35
Wow just been playing around with mactans and the tick for throwing off eq is really slow

It's only useful to people who have passive cold ticks. Wonder who that is...

Okay, yes, thanks for helping.
The problem is working with skilled monks, rarely any tahtetso come about, until Lorick just a couple days ago

I use mactans for my sap locks! Though I guess it's more useful for me.

Your sap locks suck
What's the shrugging percentage on trans resilience?

Oh god, if I'm what passes for "skilled" we have a problem. Heh.
Unknown2009-08-06 20:55:08
Ha, give yourself some credit.
Razenth2009-08-06 23:27:12
Lorina, phantom spheres. That way you don't have an excuse to stay in one room with them.

Must be nice to have two viable instakills. Ninjakari don't even have one.
And yes, Narsrim used to pair with Munsia (mindblast/psyvamp) for harmony instakills.

Hm. Interesting. If I'm stuck defending a raid with a Tahtetso and an Aqua, I know what to do now.

Make sure the tahtetso is trans harmony, and the aqua is a TP user.
Esano2009-08-07 08:13:53
Most aquas will have difficulty outracing curing with just mindblast, especially if it's not something the pair has practiced.

Probably the only time Munsia has been good for something.
Oh yes, I went there.

A monk spamming contortrin could work :|
Vathael2009-08-07 15:17:15
no.. reckless is only half useful when it is hidden and even then it is easy to detect
