Alright,
A few movies came out that I think will either be cool (District 9), I have to watch them just cause they are a movie now (GI JOE), or think will be funny (The Goods).
I called up a chick and say, "Hey, I wanna go see a movie tonight, you up for it?" She titters and says, "Sure!"
Then I go well here are the choices, and rattle them off. She then hits me with, "We can go to whichever one you want."
Why can't women ever just give me an opinion? I hear that all the time when I want to go places, Dinner or a Movie, "Whatever you want, I don't mind either one". Comedy show or Club, "Whatever you want to goto, just let me know so I know how to dress (Which means I'm not responsible for how she dresses ugh)"
So now I am torn, so I've turned to Lusternia to be the great equalizer, lemme know, I'm leaning towards District 9, but think GI Joe might be more her speed, (She's not the sharpest knife in the drawer).

The trick (and this is the honest, completely not sarcastic truth) is that you're supposed to know what she'd like, and it's part of your responsibility to arrange something that both of you can enjoy. You will be judged by how well you accomplish this, because it shows how sensitive you are to what she says and feels.
Enjoy!

This is a family type forum and all that so I'm not going to explain the internal workings of my relationship with this woman, but they only revolve around having someone to hang out with at movies/events and a place to crash when I'm drunk and...
Needless to say, I am not trying to marry the woman, but she is annoying sometimes.

If you feel no particular need to accommodate her wants, then go see whatever you want.

You are correct sir, District 9 it is.
See you folks in about four-five hours probably.
Damadreas2009-08-15 02:27:20
I saw District 9 last night and it was awesome by the way.
Rancoura2009-08-15 02:36:25
Nerf difficult (purposely or not) women.
Damadreas2009-08-15 02:40:21
I think most men more or less need a boost in their attentiveness more then anything. It's not all that difficult to surmise which movie a woman might prefer. And actually if you just listen they tell you what they want/like constantly. Just not when you ask.

Just for the record, District 9 was F-ing awesome, I'm definately buying that when it comes to DVD.
Diamondais2009-08-15 04:09:03
Good to hear, I've been wanting to see it!
Desitrus2009-08-15 05:42:10
Heard it here first folks, Rancoura is ... not difficult!

Bumped because no one was at the midnight showing and EVERY NERD ON THE PLANET MUST SEE THIS MOVIE.
I digress. If you were on the fence about District 9, get off, go see it. Twice.
Rancoura not difficult? o.o When?

I heard GI Joe was rubbish anyway. District 9 sounds awesome.

I would have told you to just say " it" and go see Julie & Julia. I highly reccomend it, but be sure to eat before you go.
Karel2009-08-20 00:37:48
Yeah, go see D-9.
