Sword kills humans, Vendetta claimed human, Vendetta is not dead or elicting effect. Either Vendetta is not human, defense kicked in, or there was nothing for the sword to elict. My own pm back from the mod essentially when targetting a mafia was a passive nothing on their end. So, in my mind, out of the three actions his resistance fired. I don't really have solid proof to ground it on, that is what all my other points have and they are backed by numerous instances. Here, I only have one point of information and can only speculate.

A. Vendetta isn't human - I can't really prove or disprove this from my end so since it's pretty much a flip of the coin I'm leaving it alone

B. Vendetta resisted the effect - In my mind, most likely result considering...

C. Vendetta is town - There shouldn't be pages of history with the mafia and Vendetta supporting each other. I've been in this game for just as long and pretty much the only pages between Kira and I were hostile. The defense of having many posts is not a defense when a majority of it is in the light I put forth. So not likely.

Actually, I'm still kind of confused as to what was to take place here. Are you saying that if I had made up anything or lied about my identity and alliances so far, or done anything to create "confusion", something would have happened? Or is it unclear to you as well?

You're completely intent on sticking to your outrageous story despite having been called crazy a few times by different people, had your initial accusations proven entirely false, and now you are trying to manipulate Xikue's skill so that it fits in with your story.

Know what, why lynch around him? Lorick has sort of lost his mind. I don't buy Vendetta as scum and Lorick isn't going to let it go. Even if he is town he's extreamly detrimental to the town because he's refusing to let us move forward and look at other people as targets.

I have yet to see Celina put forth anything grounded in quotes clearing Vendetta, so she sticks to obscure "You are wrong" like normal. IF you want to argue, come back with something to base it on.

I've changed whom I've voted for before as a compromise. I just won't vote for people I don't think are scum, and Shaddus by Othero's claim isn't most likely. So, I'm redirecting it back toward someone I have _yet_ to see be cleared. The sword gave us a neutral response, same as I got from Kira. I have yet to see anything new.

I'm willing to bet the sword will elict the same response on me as it will on you.

What were you expecting the swords to even do? The sword is supposed to cut through a human's confusion, nothing was confusing Vendetta, so nothing happened.
