Oooo... I want to play!

Tervic, I think that #4 is a lie for you, although honestly... that's a hard one since they're all similar.

Here are mine:

1) I have 9 siblings, and my husband has 6, giving my daughter a total of 15 uncles and aunts.
2) Brad Pitt is my fourth cousin.
3) I met my husband on teh internets.
4) My daughter (who is 1 1/2 years old) has never been sick.
5) I am 3 IQ points away from being considered a "Genius".

And... go!

Actually, I tech for a G&S theater group, so yeah, I've used my annotated scripts biggrin.gif If you go through Real World Lack of Rants (if it still exists), there is a great long bitchy post about how someone disregarded my instructions and nearly burned the theater down. (we were running extra lights very close to the curtain, and someone turned all the lights on at full power, then proceeded to close the curtain, resulting in a 2 in. diameter hole being bored through the curtain vis a vis stage light. Good times.)

For you, 2 is false, except that it's so ridiculous it might be true. Therefore, #1 is false.

Reference list:

1.) I own the Dune books written by Frank Herbert (but none of those silly side stories for me!)
2.) I own the entire Ender's original quartet.
3.) I still have books 1-31 of the Hardy Boys from when I was in elementary school.
4.) I own and have actually used The Complete Annotated Gilbert and Sullivan.
5.) I own Monday through Saturday of the Keys to the Kingdom series by Garth Nix.

Nope, #1 is true! I really do have 9 siblings and my husband really does have 6. smile.gif We're Mormon, so... you know... we have big families, kinda like Catholics (though it has nothing to do with not believing in contraception and no, our parents aren't polygamist)... although, our particular families are really even bigger than the "average" for our religion, which I'd say is maybe 4 or 5 kids. Hehe

My second guess for you, Tervic, is #1. Either you don't own Dune at all, or you really do own the silly side stories too. wink.gif

You're correct in the least true, but wrong about the details. I own the entire core dune series -except- I think the 5th book written by Frank Herbert. Well... I did own the rest at some point, but they've kinda gotten scattered and I need to go hunt them all down again. But yeah, I'm just missing one of the core set. And no, I don't own any of the silly side stories.

Thus, I'm thinking that #4 is a false one for you. Little kids -always- get sick.

Yep, you're correct!

2) Brad Pitt really is my fourth cousin. So I think that means we share a great grandparent set. But I've never met him. I have too many first cousins (40 or 50 some odd) to even get near my fourth ones.

3) I did meet my husband on an internet dating website. We have lived happily ever after since then. biggrin.gif

4) Almost true... she was only sick ONCE when she was a lot younger with some sort of mild cold that lasted for a day. But besides that, no ear infections or fevers or vomiting or anything. She has like +15 constitution or something, I think.

5) Alas, true... I get around a 142/143 on IQ tests... 2 or 3 points short of "genius". However, being a procrastinating and easily distracted person, this supposedly impressive intellect doesn't ever get applied. wink.gif Instead, I use it to RP on Lusternia all day and write ten pages of novels that I don't ever finish. Hehe

1) I broke my leg when I was five and I now walk with a slight limp. Also I can make a grotesque clicking sound with my knee when I stretch it right.
2) My favourite Beatle is John Lennon. Suck it, Ringo et al.
3) My final attendance rate for sixth form was around 40%, and I still managed two A's and two B's.
4) I've dressed as Raoul Duke/Hunter Thompson for Halloween, complete with flyswat. My fat friend played Gonzo/Oscar Acosta.
5) I sing, play guitar and drum. Alrightly, competently and terribly, in that descending order.

Hrm, I'll say number 1 for you Jack.

Another set of 5 from me.

1. I've only ever fractured a bone, never had been seriously hurt.
2. I fell into the tiger pen at a zoo.
3. I -almost- went to Blizzcon '08, but the tickets were sold out in less than roughly 45sec.
4. I enjoy Jousting and that's the first thing I look for when I go to a Renaissance faire.
5. I've been hit in the head several times by soccer balls, volley balls, etc.
Unknown2009-09-19 03:37:32
1. I had to have my left nut removed due to a tumour in it when I was 12.
2. I have an immense love of all things spicy.
3. I drink about a half gallon of milk a day.
4. I play WOW obessively, having 5 epic geared eighties so far.
5. I wish I had a tail.

First cousins means parents were siblings. Second means grandparents were siblings. You share great great grandparents as siblings. Damn that's a lot of first cousins O_o

#2 is false. Unless you qualify it with "and the tiger snuggled me".

1 is true from earlier T&L
2 is false, you're a weaktongue.
3 is true from earlier T&L
4 is totally possible, I know several people like that.
5 is also true. I think. It's hard to guess how your mind works.

I'm tempted to give you that on the strength that "terribly" is not a strong enough word to describe the sonic cacophony I create while drumming, but unfortunately it is laden with truthiness.

Really? I forgot. Lesson to be learned is not to do these things at 12 when you haven't gotten good sleep for 5 days.

Oh well. 2 is true, I eat things that make my friends and family run for the nearest beer/milk/sugar and then put hot sauce on it. 4 is a trick question. I only have 1 eighty in epics, the rest are PTR replicas. That's the lie.
5 is true. C'mon, It'd be awsome and you know it.

I wasn't sure about #4, but it's good to know that you might still have life. Re:5: Wings are more awesome. Nyah.

Here a new set for me, this time with a Lusternia theme

1) Maellio was not my first Lusternia Character.
2) Lusternia was my first experience playing a MUD.
3) The only person I introduced to Lusternia (who still plays) has become more successful than Maellio in every way.
4) Maellio's first death was self inflicted.
5) Maellio has spoken with Munsia (at some length, in person, and as a Glom) and not been killed as a result (or really even insulted).

5. 5 is a lie. If you say it's not you're wrong.
Unknown2009-09-20 03:39:39
@Ardmore Sorry, it is indeed true. It was right after the 'death' of Hajamin and the return of Morgfyre while Munsia was spending all her time in Morgfyre's flucrux. As she was there more often then Him, we took to conversing aimlessly. I have no doubt she held some hate for Maellio, but it never seemed horribly focused upon. She even later offered to have me made the Glom liaison for the Ackleberry Foundation (which I turned down for various reasons).

So, try again tongue.gif

1) Maellio was not my first Lusternia Character.
2) Lusternia was my first experience playing a MUD.
3) The only person I introduced to Lusternia (who still plays) has become more successful than Maellio in every way.

Maellio, I'll say 2.
Unknown2009-09-28 02:04:44
That would be... correct. That is indeed the lie. Though I don't remember the name of the MUDs off-hand (its been years), I did play around with one or two of them when I was in grade-school.

1) I had a faeling prior to Maellio, who lasted up until I managed to crash right into the Peak (and promptly forgot to register).

3) The person in question is Everiine, you can compare on your own time, though I imagine Maellio's a far better schemer at least (so I like to think anyway tongue.gif )

4) Maellio's first death was to self-inflicted alcohol poisoning, mainly because I wanted to see what would happen. It's amusing, in its own way, though only once.
