As a note, the ants in Lolliprin are aggressive if you've EVER taken a larva, they aren't aggressive just at that moment.

No they aren't.

They may not become unaggressive right away, but when they reset / are killed, they don't become aggressive again. Just like most non-aggressive NPCs that have a trigger which makes them aggressive. The flag just checks to see if you're carrying a larva afaik, it does not permanently flag your character (why would it?)

The Afflictions page is now up, and it's the most complete collection of afflictions ever gathered. I combined information from a variety of sources including some definitive information from the coders. That doesn't mean there aren't any errors, though, so if you see any, please let me know!

Absolutely fabulous. Thank you.

Any plans for affliction lines? The Scrying Pool has some, though not for all that many afflictions.
Zallafar2009-09-23 06:49:55
OK, how the heck did you get a diagnose line for being asleep???
Esano2009-09-23 06:52:34
Bodyscan/succor on someone who is sleeping.

The list is missing the affliction (chills or shivering) that has the diagnose line "shivering."

Ah! Didn't know about that.

I know I had that one at one point, wonder how I lost it. Added.

After the basics are in, and assuming I find someone willing to maintain it, I'd certainly like to see collections of all the triggers added to the wiki. Forren's list needs to be updated, and hopefully the wiki will be the catalyst to make someone or several someones centralize their effort into something really exhaustive and definitive.

There are much harder-to-get ones than that in the list! Look harder. smile.gif

Death, stunned, unconscious.

For frozen you give the effect as "Prevents movement." However you see this message when you try to move while frozen:

CODE
You begin moving your frozen body slowly northeast.

I take it as confirming that I actually was frozen when after drinking fire I got the cured message: Though still shivering, you are no longer frozen solid. And I did end up at my destination; it just took a while.

Maybe the hardest one to get is toadcurse, since you can't succor a toad, I think.

Made a number of corrections suggested by Esano, Zallafar, and others, including adding a couple of other missed afflictions (notably Impale).
Daganev2009-09-23 15:29:58
just cause I think it should be there as an example to others, can I have my background/history put into the wiki?

p.s. I love how Xiel's site looks IC tongue.gif

If you get chosen as a notable adventurer we can always link to the copies of those things already on the Lusternia website, but I don't think it'd make sense to duplicate existing web pages when we can just link. The notable adventurers thing is going to be fun to figure out... and one of the last things we do!

"Notable" is such a subjective term. I'm sure the general population would agree on certain very notable individuals, but I'm also sure there would be many who are notable within a smaller community (or in their own heads). biggrin.gif

I think that the affliction you have for pox is incorrect, i've never seen it be contagious before, only scabies.

edit: it does minor health, and mana damage

edit2: Also, a fun fact, Charune mentioned once that the frequency of pox ticking is based on your skill in planar. It would seem the original concept had a cosmic origin.
Lendren2009-09-23 17:47:41
That's weird... if anything deserves to be contagious it's pox!

Not that along ago, I created an alt. I hunted Lolliprin, and all the ants (save the queen) in the larvae chambers were all aggressive after I killed them all, and long after I had any larvae.

Regarding Notable Adventurers: Why not just have people submit their own blurb (in a certain pre-decided format) if they want to be put up and then they can be listed? Organized by either guild or family name. The latter would be more interesting, I'd imagine. This way people who want to point out their importance will be listed and people who don't care will not be listed.
Unknown2009-09-23 20:47:24
In a wiki, you can categorize an entry with multiple categories, so you could visit the Talnara Family category page to see a summary of people listed under the Talnara family name, for example. I think that'd make sense.

Yes! biggrin.gif

Personally, I would love to see the Notable Adventurers section similar to the Players section on Aetolia's Ankyrean Archives -- albeit, not as crass or flame-worthy (however, the humor from those pages is just too much fun!). Who cares about notoriety, give everyone the chance to feel included!
