Yeah. When I read this thread, I just feel like a deer staring at oncoming headlights. It's amazing how hard it is to really focus when you're not the one under all the attention.

I feel like there's too much attention between Lorick and Requiem right at the moment. If people have more questions for me particularly, I wouldn't mind.

Otherwise, I'm fine with going ahead and seeing what we might reveal through Jack, though my voting would put him one vote away. Are none interested in defending him?

I'm going to just keep my vote on Jack because honestly I have no idea where else to proceed at this point. He hasn't responded yet, which makes me think he's ran far, far away from this thing, so I'm ok with lynching him and seeing what we have after we see his role, since we're going straight into day 3 afterwards.

Maybe we should start putting deadlines in faster. Like 72hr per day or something.

People will post more when there's fewer things to have headaches over. This whole leader issue hasn't gone away with the end of the first day, and I don't foresee it dissipating until we have a dead leader.

We spent a long time deliberating over whether the leader role should be sacrificial in nature from the get-go. Over time the arguments shifted the intention - reasons for who would be better to keep alive as a leader were being brought up instead. Then, oddly enough, the purpose of sacrifice and what kind of person would volunteer for such came back around, and this loop is what's been feeding our little cycle here, if I'm not mistaken.

If people feel they have good reason for doubt, or are afraid to leave things untested in the current state, or simply want the matter brought to an end, perhaps you could consider Celina, Lorick. It is ungrounded, but was brought up multiple times as likely coming with the job, and I have a vague feeling Othero would find himself in the exact same position were he elected.

Else, there's a good chance most of the game will stay as lurky as me.

I think we got kind of screwed picking Celina as leader here. I have a suspicion that if we send someone to fight this guy and they lose, they die (or at least lose all their gold.) So it would be a good way to get rid of our leader if we didn't think they were likely to win, so we could save Lorick's daykill for use on req. But I don't think Celina's likely to lose.
