I've heard someone (I believe Vathael) mention that Ur'Guard had the best cohesiveness with bonecrusher, but axelord in choke (powerful single-strikes in aeon) looks pretty appealing. Can someone with experience with both or either possibly give an overview of what one class might have over another in terms of pk viability?

they are both very viable. i havent done the whole al choke thing but i am more than certain i could pull it off easily. you have to look at choke though and remember its like a double edged sword. you wont have the passives like others to help so your offense will have to be at least above par. as for myself, i dont really use a lot of necro but it does go good with bc.

Remember thought that Choke often (always) goes with Drink, which gives passive health and affliction curing. Furthermore, curing bleeding while under choke is an absolute nightmare, and Glom's organizational alchemy brew, Nightsweats, gives a nice burst of bleeding on attack.

I've never played Ur'Guard, so I can't comment on that. Bonecrusher has terrible synergy with choke sad.gif

It is Tervic.

Think about it... They can send their action one full second before stuns/winding end and it'll go through on time which effectively reduces the "time out" from those skills by 0.9 seconds, bonecrusher is the only class that doesn't deliver bleeding per strike so you can't damage kill as fast under choke, warriors in general typically do not have many/any passive effects. Needing two choke-actions to get the most of one's offense doesn't help, either. Swing command goes in....wait one second, second command goes in, wait 2s, swing with first hand again.

I'm not just spouting verbal stupid.

Choke -> Knockdown w/poison -> profit.

The enemy has to wait for stun to end, cure the broken leg/paralysis in a staggered way, then STAND to fight back, all the while the warrior just swings away building wounds, etc.

They can send the actions one full second before the stun ends, but yeah, the curing + stand would screw most people up (acrobatics would allow springup off the broken leg though, wouldn't it?).

Can't remember offhand if choke fires before the 'Too stunned to move' message does, but you can't springup with a broken leg anymore. Was envoyed.

BC also has a whole array of lovely head wounds to proc on a prone opponent. Stacked scrambled brain and stupidity in choke, anyone? Gonna be swinging there anyways.

You mean fracturedskull.

Seems like Axelord would synergize better with Choke.

Nah, Bonecrusher is very strong in choke. Knockdown is basically instant win. Basically if you can score a leg mangle and choke right afterwards they should be pretty stuck.
