Greetings all, I am very new to the game and in need of help building a system for my character. I am on a Mac, play a Wiccan. I will pay in generous credits to the person who is willing to help!
Please either PM me or contact Marsali IG.

It's going to be hard to find a system for Mac since there are only a few clients out there that will run on a Mac platform. I would suggest getting Boot Camp and a copy of Windows and running Windows when you want to play Lusternia. That expands your options tremendously.
Though if you must play on a Mac, Rapscallion comes to mind.

When I tried using Rapscallion, I had issues with it loading Lusternia, though it could load every other MUD I tried to connect to.
If you don't want to use / get Windows, the only real option you have is tinyfugue, which is a chore to set up (or so I hear, and I've tried to before with no avail), but very nice once you get it going. However, there is no universally available system for tinyfugue, so unless you're good at coding, I would suggest getting buddy-buddy with someone who is and asking their help with your own system.
Otherwise, I agree with Nienla. Get a copy of Windows and install Bootcamp into your Mac. Otherwise, you'll be stuck on clients like Nexus or the slightly better Atlantis or MUDwalker.
I had a Mac when I got into Lusternia and, after two years, finally gave up and bought a netbook with Windows XP installed.

I thought Rapscallion died 10 years ago, at least.
Tiny Fugue installed easily for me, but that might be because I already had the Developer Tools installed on my Mac. I just followed the instructions to build it from source and it all worked.
Once you have a client (Mudlet is the other popular one for Macs) though, building a good system is a gargantuan task.

I'm pretty sure you can use MUSHclient with Wine on a mac, and there is a free system for it, too.

Which free system? Because I'm certain Treant has troubles with Wine.

Wine has troubles, not Treant.
And, you can install the system on Windows MUSHclient then copy the resulting world file over to Wine, assuming you have at least some access to a Windows system somewhere.

Mudlet is a cross-platform mud client in the beta stages of development. The current version-- beta 15-- seems to crash on my MacBook, but otherwise I have been very pleased.
Currently there are no systems available, though I do know of at least one or two Lusternians who've coded their own private systems.
I would love to see a public system come out for Mudlet, so us Mac people can get in the combat.

I would pay generously to anyone who wants to help me build my own system. It gives me a stomach ache to think about buying a Netbook! There has to be a way to figure it out for the Mac! (course I'm not that savvy when it comes to coding so I am not one to talk.)
Thanks for your advice everyone. Still seeking someone who wants to help!

Here is a post on writing your own system.

Just like what Janalon said, I'd suggest Mudlet. It actually JUST came out with version 1.0 late last night, and it works amazingly well. I'm currently coding up my own public system for it. It'll be open source, so I'll set it up with the proper documentation to allow others to contribute to it, and eventually have a kick-ass system! Plus.... I'm not the coding Jedi that Zarquan is, so I'm pretty much only capable of a basic system myself... Lol
