Only one top tier knight combatant left, all the others are inactive now

Different people may define "top tier" differently, but now I'm wondering to whom you're referring (and who's inactive).

Shuyin is the only Knight still playing that I'd define as top tier.

Ceren was amazing but is now a mage.

Melville is inactive.

Thoros is inactive.

Vathael also appears to be inactive.

Alger is inactive.

Other than that, you've not really got anyone around I'd consider truly top tier.

Shuyin, Melville and Vathael from that list can kill me if I stand toe to toe and give them long enough. Melville has some of the best wound development I've ever seen, Alger was amazing as was Ceren but neither have played Knight for the last two revisions. Thoros was good, especially at group stuff, but I could fight him to a standstill in arena spars all day long without either of us landing a kill - although he always built much better wounding than I could.

Cheap tactics are about the only things that kill me these days, when fighting knights, and I haven't died to a knight since well before hitting Demi.

I should add, I'm still a really bad combatant

EDIT: Desitrus tells me that I've cut him to the quick, he was also a top tier knight. As was Murphy, but he's in the same boat as Alger since there have been numerous revisions since Murph was a knight.

How about Daevos? Is he still around or is the Ur'guard just too afraid to contest him?

e: or Ixion, for that matter. He used to be pretty scary.

I doubt demi was ever a 'requirement' for knight combat, demi just allowed people who sucked to flail away with no goals and out-damage people.

Which is a lot of knights.
