Here is my idea,

Firstly Empower influence would stay exactly the same it would buff their level.
Second it would make them crit immune.
Third it would give you 4x the experience but be a good bit harder.
Fourth you could only do it once per 3 lust days
Fifth it would last for 3 days.

Making influence less of an experience faucet and actually making the effects of influence battles something worthwhile that people will want to persue isn't an entirely bad idea... remove the "4x experience" rubbish and maybe I could get behind this. :P

I think empowered guards should hit through divine fire suspicious.gif

That is an interesting idea.

Maybe just making guards actually useful in defense in less than obscene numbers/combinations would be a better idea than through divinefire. Instead of the current perhaps doubling their effectiveness. People would kill them irrespective, but the deterrent factor is not there and I don't think limiting a skill people get to demigod for is the answer. I know you were sarcastic/not serious, but it is likely a legit criticism.

I dunno. Do you think a Demigod should be able to walk into a group of 60 guards, dance for 50 seconds while he laughs at the futile efforts of the defenders, and then just havens out?

1) Send tell to a person with a Force skill.
2) Force the Fired demigod to kick a guard.
3) Laugh as they dance themselves to death.

Demigod could always just keep a Psishield up

It's not like the only form of domination is psionic. And if the Demigod is spamming psi shield, there's not much dancing or talking or the like going on. And, eventually, a force will get through, no?

Threads that have outlived their usefulness (first post in this case!) should be hijacked until they're killed.

It wasn't sarcasm or a joke. I think it's a good idea. If people got to demi simply to grief guards then they should be limited in their ability to do so.
