I dont know much about ascendants. But Ive been seeing alot of people get big lately. That being said, perhaps there should be a restriction on ascendants.

Like if "insert org" raises "insert person" if "said person" leaves "said org" they lose ascendant and become demigod(dess). Since that org spent the power on them when they leave they power is returned or at least partially returned.

This is just an idea so everyone don't get mad or crazy.

That already happens.

See; Talkan.

Edit: Aside from the returned power bit. That will not happen or people would just ascend, boot and reinduct for the power regain, ascend again with the restored power, etc. Demi factory ahoy.

No, power shouldn't be returned. The orgs made a gamble and lost, oh well try again.
Unknown2009-11-27 21:39:21
Seems like kind of a big gamble for a fairly unimportant gain. Demigods are like Popcorn at this point. suspicious.gif

You forgot Desitrus too.

Desitrus didn't go on to lose Demi though, heh. I thought Talkan was the more appropriate example, especially being so recent.

I figured that was why you picked him, the latter part anyway. It seems like Celest will never raise an ascendant again, they have the worst luck.
Kiradawea2009-11-27 23:52:23
Making poor decisions is not bad luck. It's lack of foresight.
Shaddus2009-11-28 00:21:56
Yeah, Celest should just raise me.
Unknown2009-11-28 01:47:17
They should raise Iytha. I would make an excellent choice.

Well you would certainly fit their pattern.

Gregori, I'll give you 50 credits to let me join Seren and raise me as an ascendant.
Unknown2009-11-28 03:58:37
Come to Celest. We already expect our Ascendants to abandon us.
