I'd like to hear from Dugan and Siam again before making my vote.

Ok ...
My vote is still on Kira. I don't really plan on changing it. I do think voting no lynch is a bad idea. I have never liked the idea of a no lynch, still never see any good option in it. You can't rely too much on anything when people just 'no lynch' repeatedly. Right now, I still find Kira suspicious. I also have my doubts on Shiri. I also have doubts on Rika.
Siam2009-12-12 04:35:48
Sorry, but please, explain what we'll get from lynching Furien? I'm not too familiar about random-immune - does that mean random things turn up one he is targetted by role powers? What of immune?
Mirami2009-12-12 04:37:52
If I investigate him, he'll show up as town. He doesn't have to deal with the RNG- he automatically gets the best outcome.
Dugan2009-12-12 04:39:46
While that may be true, Furien hasn't really done anything to deserve to be lynched. It is the name of the game, but with all the other suspicions I don't see what lynching Furien would accomplish.

Well, yeah. But your investigate ability isn't 100% reliable.

Same sentiments.

I am a little curious as to why we have so many people who are not voting. Do only like four people have an opinion?

Not too keen on voting atm. You've all made your point, but I want to hear from Kira before finally placing my vote.

I think many, like me, are just cautious about how and when they place their votes. I in particular am trying to figure out what's a good line between caution and uselessness, since the last time I tried being aggressive in one of these it hardly worked out that well for me.
After re-reading the arguments, I think I will go ahead and
Vote: Shiri
Mirami2009-12-12 06:07:39
Vote: Furien
If he's scum, Rika can't quadra-slice him. I can't investigate him. If there's -anybody- we should lynch day 1, it's Furien, since we're not going to get very reliable information about him.

I guess I'll have to unvote vote: Furien because people are ignoring scum tells and bandwagoning the wrong way instead. Furien is about as "safe" a lynch as we can have and at least my power can grab an aqua rake and undo one night of Kefka's work as long as I don't get roleblocked, so whatever.

Hi diddle diddle, time for a riddle:
What is green, sits in a bathtub, and whistles?

Er, no idea. What does?

Incorrect, why would you need vocal cords to whistle, anyway?
Shiri, do you have a guess?

Weird how my vote disappeared, but unvote anyway. Still going to keep an eye on Kiradawea, though I agree with letting Shiri get a copy of her skill before we do anything to her.
Anyway, people I'm iffy of after a quick read-through:
Romertien, who seems to keep bringing up his/her investigation ability as something useful (or even indispensable) even though many people have already talked about the complete unreliability of its results. It reeks somewhat of a subtle desperation to prove his/her usefulness to town which I don't really like. S/he also keeps talking about odds and getting to night quickly (in conjunction with the "I'm useful, really" mention of investigation). Then there's the no-lynch business, and the switching to Furien as a vote as if there's nothing else we can go on except role information.
Siam seems all over the place as well, most of what I can see/remember is questionable speculation (regarding accused people defending themselves via claiming their usefulness, etc) and defense of his own 'spamming.' What else is it you want to hear from Kira?
Dugan I can't really get a read on though he's been urging people to air their opinions, but I don't remember him contributing anything helpful. Same with Diamondais but to a lesser extent, most of her posts about about being busy (which I can understand) and very little about the actual game.
As for the Shiri/Daganev/Casilu back-and-forth, I'm not ready to vote any of them yet on the basis of their arguments. I'll reread in the meantime and see if it progresses any further.

I wish there was a way to search the thread that'd bring up all of one user's posts. If there's such a way, let me know, it's annoying to lose a post you were sure you read but can't find again.

I was curious why she would've wanted to unvote after Rika posted her swordtech. Kira claims that she thought that Rika's post meant the start of her charging her ability. Unvoting would have placed her among those in danger of dying to the Swordtech ability #7. Why would she want to give up her vote and risk dying?

Sorry, missed answering to your claim that my speculations were questionable.
Why would my speculation be questionable? Isn't it logical? I merely stated what could have happened if Shiri didn't present his plan to lynch people based on how dangerous they are as scum. Isn't claiming how useful your abilities are if you're town not a possible way to defend yourself?
As for my spamming, meh, sorry if I overlook a few things before finally posting.

Heaven forbid, we do only have 18 pages for the thread. With only four people voting and so many needless and pointless posts that don't contribute anything to the game whatsoever ... why on earth do we need people to post what they might be thinking ....
