Hey, unlike you humanfolk, we're monogamous. 30 years is a long time to be stuck with the same bird, so we're picky!
Furien2009-12-18 05:06:46
Didn't I vote for someone? I don't remember unvoting. Then again I don't remember who I voted for. Hmm.

I don't know Dag's assessment, but Shiri is usually good at masking scum tells. He sort of always has the same "personality" whether he's scum or not, so he's hard to read. I'll stick with it for now.
Shiri2009-12-18 05:37:27
Predictable.
(note: not necessarily a scum tell on Shaddus' part, just a personal thing since he usually plays scummy and I usually try to get him lynched)
Just to debunk Casilu's suggestion again...obviously if I'm a scum I lose something from copying Aqua Rake. Which is that I miss a night of killing someone and I'm STILL not 100% confirmed. Definitely #1 lynch priority tomorrow unless some really good evidence comes up.

I suspected you would know most of the mafia players' personalities and thought patterns by now, but I give you too much credits. I'll give you a hint: Baaaaaa.

I don't play scummy, I just have a really bad habit of not reading things, jumping at shadows, and not being paranoid when I should be. Daganev is a much better player than I am, he voted for you for a reason. I'll just watch a bit and see how you act before I change my vote, if I do.

We're on a deadline, so...

We've had requests for a deadline, and posting speed is starting to dwindle, so I'm going to go along with that now.
Deadline is in 36 hours, and if one player has a clear plurality of the votes, that player will be lynched.

In fact, you have 20 hours, 58 minutes.

Incidentally, night is a really good time to replace inactive players. If you fear this might be you (hint: 8 * 2.5 = 20), get to posting!

Not reading things and jumping at shadows are really bad, you need to stop this if you want people to stop thinking you're scum from the get go.

I don't know why I need to repeat this since I've said this once already. I'm comfortable with voting Terra because he's not as irreplaceable a role, comparatively, as Strago, who is our only method of reversing someone who's been doused. On the other hand, to prevent nightkills, Celes can protect/roleblock, Edgar can roleblock, and Locke can do either assuming proper setup and not being vitally-challenged at the time - there isn't, as Dugan said, "only one role to prevent death." If Aqua Rake goes, Kefka's douses are a ticking timebomb unless roleblocked every night, not to mention that Kira doesn't need to guess correctly to reverse a douse. I doubt Dugan is going to correctly guess Ultros's target every night.
That said, I'm voting him based on what I've seen and interpreted of his actions and votes, which hasn't changed. Dugan, you quoted the only part of my last post which applied to me - I think I've explained that part twice already, regarding why I'm willing to risk your role vs Kira's - how about the other things I brought up which you ignored? A history of voting based on "gut feelings" and because "the day is stalling out" and no evidence of original thought or any sign of analysis at all isn't convincing; this is the important part, and exactly why I'm still keeping my vote there instead of switching it to Romertien.
Oh, and welcome aboard, Shaddus.

Woah, that was unexpected. I really don't think we're going to come to any amazing resolution before the deadline today. Day ones are annoying when there wasn't a night because there isn't much we can go on.

So, our role blocker can protect. Wonderful. Who? They have a two in twelve shot of stopping a harmful night action. A doctor can make sure the specific target is safe. How are those two inter-changeable? You doubt I will correctly guess Ultro's target every night ... but the role blocker can? Good strategy.
