Most. Unhelpful. Town. Ever.
Tervic2009-12-20 22:41:21
It's kind of bad Ultros didn't nom anyone, otherwise the trackers/watchers information could've been more conclusive with regards to who can be confirmed as town. Ah well. Also, how does someone -not- notice getting a fat bucket of gasoline dumped on their head? O_o

It's not gasoline, it is vodka. And it soaks into your skin.

So unless I'm Russian (which I'm not) how would I miss this?

One more (much more minor) change I forgot to mention:
When declaring swordtech use, a target must be specified, regardless of whether or not the skill needs one. I don't want to give away that someone counted wrong by saying so, and I don't want everyone else to be able to deduce what was used if nothing comes of it!

Stop changing my swordtech.
Just because you hate it doesn't mean you have to change it.

Hey, for what it's worth, I think most of the complaints are misplaced, and even you are about to have an unfortunate encounter with this mechanic.

I've mostly given up on my power since I reckon I'll just kill townies off even if I use it.

Just think of it as a way to save the town from the hassle of lynching the lurkers. Orrrrrr...use one of your other six powers!

Waaaaiiit. Why am I suddenly the new lynch target?
VOTE: FURIEN
So, Furien. Why me, and not somebody else?
I base my vote on two reasons. 1: Furien seems to be blindly following on a lynch when it seems clear that it's not in the town's best interest to blindly lynch, and 2: There's data available courtesy of last night's investigations. I'd like to see it referenced when people vote (hence my switch from Casilu to Furien, based on my investigation last night).
Also, can we get a vote-count?

Dugan and Vendetta both tried to protect Kira in their own special ways, but Vendetta's power ended up flicking Dugan's protection onto Furien courtesy of Mog's guaranteed win whenever random chance is involved. That's what I learned last night, anyways. Stop being such a fuddy-duddy.

Oh, also, Ultros didn't nom anyone and apparently we're all oblivious to the smell of gasoline/vokda/whatever the heck Kefka uses.

Obviously nobody can smell/feel it.

So, yeah, advocating Romertien lynch here when Swordtech finally fires. S/he's been all over the place post and vote-wise, not to mention either not reading or purposefully voting despite Rika's warning (not that no one else did, but still).
By the way, referencing your own investigation as a basis for voting/not voting is pretty terrible given the chances involved. If 12.5% can proc on Solanis, what makes you so sure that 25% won't proc on you?

It may be just because it's late and I'm tired, but would you mind clarifying that bit there? I have no idea what it means. Either that or bake me a pie, I'm chill like that.
Unknown2009-12-21 10:16:30
Setzer's (Romertien's) investigation is based on correctly guessing alignment 50% of the time, plus 25% to guess scum and 25% to guess town, giving a net 75% chance of guessing correctly. Thus 25% chance of making a mistake, which is why we shouldn't treat investigation results as completely reliable or failsafe.
