I originally wrote that off as spite but then when you get people like Pectus or Aleria getting four or five artifacts in one gnome drop... yeah, that's pretty annoying.

I don't think there is any trick to finding gnomes other than to stay alert and run to an area really quickly. I imagine the bulk of the gnomes disappear in the first five minutes and the rest end up being in obscure areas that are hard to reach or difficult to get through.

It took me 3 years, but I finally wrangled something of worth from those buggers! THREE LONG YEARS!

I just gifted 266 credits to Veyrzhul.

Didn't know they put so many different artifacts in the presents.

You quickly unwrap a ruby and jade present, which sprays glittering silver dust and cheerful confetti into the air, and excitedly pull a parafilament purse from within.

Also this year, I've gotten gold, dingbats, vials, palettes, and a bubble pipe.

Damn it! I was supposed to be ready, checked four spots where I KNOW they've appeard in the past and nothing T.T

I'm curious about that. There seems to be something more than just chance going on here. People were complaining the exact same way last year. I.e. Some people are upset that they never get anything, a few say they never get anything of value, yet some people seem to be literally showered with gifts. What is up with this?

That's how things turn out when it's truly random, get grouping of events like that. Things don't even out until you're dealing with very large numbers of presents in this case, evenly spread out among the population.

I got a dagger and a paintbrush on a character I don't play. All I wanted was some gold for clothing so I wouldn't be naked. Gold is all the gnomes I find on my main give me. I think I really am cursed.

Lehki is right, you wont start getting an even spread in a small population.

I'd muchly prefer it if it was the same as they did for fathers day, type in a command, once, for a reward, wouldn't have to be a set reward like then, just one, nice gift for anyone around, fair and all that, y'know?

I haven't had an Ironbeard visit in a few days. I can't lie, the gnomes have been kind to me. But presents = win.
