No you don't. If you're a Templar, some dude in a white robe is gonna stab you in the back of the neck with his wristblade.

Assassins Creed 2 is SOOO much better! Well... Obviously, but AC was epic in it's own right. Altair is a God amongst men.

I'm slightly interested to see, if Hallifax and Gaudiguch ever get Monks, what weapons they use. No reason to not speculate privately. I'm thrilled to see that they came up with a good way to slowly mete out the guilds. I don't know if 200k power is that hard to get, though. I've never monitored the Power ministry, so..

Interesting conversation emerged from Simple Questions thread. See our previous speculations for monk guilds.

I fully support giving Hallifax war fans. The mental image of a bunch of trill going around and wrecking people with big feathery and/or crystal fans is just too awesome.

For Gaudiguch, how about wind and fire wheels: basically one-handed bladed circles with a handle on one side and sharp projections on the others. Suitably funky, and apparently requiring constant motion and a fluid grace. For an example, see Sun Shang Xiang from Dynasty Warriors.

I leave for a few months and you get all AC on the forums?

Don't we all.

Don't we all. sad.gif

Mayhaps I will spend time with them Aeromancers.

I so eagerly await the opening of citizenship and membership to the cities and guilds. Also belated Happy Birthday to Estaara as well. We love you and thank you for the work you do.

Yeah...I'm probably going to join regardless of if there's a guild I want to join. biggrin.gif

Also I see Dysolis prowling the thread - wonder how he feels about Gaudiguch coming out. XD

They decided we were moving too quickly, so they jacked the power-quest turn ins up from 50 to 200. I'm sad now.
Eventru2009-12-22 03:48:46
The power quest turn-ins have been at a set amount since the beginning.

The only people who said fifty were players.

Then I'm even sadder, since it means someone lied to me. sad.gif
Genos2009-12-22 03:53:18
Cririk has been saying we needed 200 since the beginning.
Dysolis2009-12-22 04:11:20
This is awesome. I got to be Celestian and Mag one last time before Gaudiguch came out but now I am ready to join Gaudiguch. Remembering from along time ago I made a post on Gaudiguch and nearly everyone said we didn't have enough to support the cities. I'm not saying people where wrong but they where totally wrong! At any rate I realize it has been a long time and this seems the perfect time to do it.
Unknown2009-12-22 04:33:23
Butterfly gathering seems excessively slow.

Also, it seems a bit unfair to make the quest require influencing. Woo Exclusion of the playerbase!
Rodngar2009-12-22 05:16:33
This is taking a while. sad.gif

/speaking of wrong

Now, on to the wtf are you smoking?

If they had opened with full cities the game would have imploded from a lack of players able to contribute to all the orgs. So while the cities may be here now, the players saying there is not enough people to support them were far from wrong and the Administration agrees.

The Guardian Drachou rears back, his size growing exponentially with each
passing flicker of the great Eternal Flame. Inch by inch, foot by foot, the
Guardian Drachou rises up, his form thickening with rippling muscle in the light
of the Eternal Flame.

Lunging forward, The Guardian Drachou leaps into the Eternal Flame, the
brilliant white inferno parting in a splay of prismatic fire, before closing
behind the great beast's fanned, rainbowed tail as it disappears into the raging
inferno.

My god, that's suggestive.
