You can do so much better than that buddy. Especially given that their special pet sets you on fire/clears fire protection.
I think I'll take my chances with a hard lock every ten seconds.
WTB druid upgrades.

Someone likes FIRE!

FYI: The chainlightning does not increase per person ad infinitum. There is a limit to how high it will go. Sounded like some people thought that if you cast it on, say, 100 people then it would rise to the point of instakilling everyone after a certain threshold of damage growth being so high.

That would have been so much fun.

Ahem, I would just like to point out- Pyromancers have boom, but with an Aeromancer demesne, you win by pressing "Raise staff" over and over again. Levitation removal, with web, hurldown, and passive one-move aeon? But then again, I do think that right now what we're seeing is compensatory skills based off of the one-guild thing. Once all three guilds are out, it'll proabably be toned down.
Rodngar2009-12-23 14:21:11
Passive one-move aeon? What? Are you calling what I think you're calling 'aeon'? I'm pretty sure I scoured AB AEROMANCY and found nothing relative to Aeon. I've got a few nifty ideas for how I'll use it, but.. hm.

Illwind functions as Aeon for one move.

Must be broken for me, then. It actually did nothing for me when I tried it earlier with a tester (enemied, declared, etc).

While I think both concepts are fantastic, I just have to say poor, poor merians and mugwumps!

Illuminated Dracnari are niice. Plenty of Int, and tanky to boot!

I'm loving Hallifax and the Aeromancers so far. Excited to spend some time tonight learning my new abilities and playing around with them. Also trying to decide what system I want to use...Treant, Mantis, or try and update CAT.
Also, Aeromancer's are not oh-pee.

FYI, illwind adds increased equilibrium/balance for one move. We can certainly think of changing it to an aeon affect if aeromancers need a boost, however! (But let's wait to see how things work out as people play with their skills and develop tactics.)

Really? You may want to change the skill desc then. As it is, it looks aeonish. Maybe have it say that it will make it more difficult to recover in the AB?
Unknown2009-12-23 16:09:27
When I read the description I thought it meant equilibrium/balance.
And I can't believe how like clockwork this "you're OP, no you're OP" argument is. XD
Esty is right, we need to give people the lines and then see how they play out.

Korimbu's 'raids' on the Continuum are funny - especially considering Doman and I are repelling them with no power.
Unknown2009-12-23 16:17:01
Kinda wish I had stayed and RP'd with you alittle when I brought that novice to Hallifax, Rodngar. Needed to log off though!
Rodngar2009-12-23 16:29:38
s'ok, things are getting hectic.
Lawliet2009-12-23 16:36:50
Yeah, I don't have a whole lot of love for the pyromancers instant kill, that looks far too easy to pull of, especially when you consider the piece of aquamancers were given >.>
Rodngar2009-12-23 16:45:19
I'm unsure if I've been hit by it, but the death I suffered from Korimbu once was INCREDIBLY fast.

You got your brain melted. So not cremate.
