I think she's trying to say...

Yeah no I don't understand either.

That being said, whether or not you end up making shop theft mechanically more difficult or impossible, would you perhaps be willing to consider a physical separation of items, along the lines of making Lusternia's bins into actual bins?

That's an idea we tossed around awhile ago during a prior thieving incident. However, that'd be a much larger coding job than what I had proposed and I'm not sure if we have the resources at this time to do something like that.

I really didn't feel like reading through everything, so this might have been covered. As a manse shop owner, what I find annoying is when you tke precautions in the form of things like sigils and people just come by and disenchant them. I remember their being an idea about their being an artifact that would make all sigils in the manse proper unable to be disenchanted. Manses have stasis gems to prevent furniture decay, so I see no reason why shops shouldn't have one to prevent disenchanting. I did not say prevent decay, just disenchanting.

I apologize if someone already brought this up.

Maybe you could add something to the shoplog if someone disenchants a sigil in your shoproom?

Well, it was a thought. Maybe a future project when you aren't doing Ascension, probably the new Hallifax and Gaudiguch guilds, and who knows what other surprises you're cooking up back there. halo.gif

Subj: Shop Security!

We've upgraded shop security to protect against theft. Only the owner
and those whom the owner gives permission to will be able to pick items
up off the floor of the shop, use the shoprift or PRICE items. The shop
owner can assign up to 10 people to have permissions using the SHOP
command while in the stockroom:

o SHOP LIST - lists those who have permission
o SHOP ADD - adds a person to the permission list.
o SHOP REMOVE - removes a person from the permission list.

You will no longer be able to use SHOPALLY commands.

So... does this apply to a single shop (i.e. you can have different lists for different shops) or is it one list for all shops?

You'd need to set permissions for each shop you control.

Awesome. If only this was applicable a few months ago. But this is great!

Can the shop add command be forced?
