Do you ever get the feeling that perhaps the admin want Demigod to be somewhat easy to get with all the different ways to get experience, boost xp, etc? Two different ways to get free Demigod?

When it feels like Demigod and Titan are, if not required for combat, a solid suggestion.. yeah. I cannot help but agree with Vathael.

I totally agree, and I don't think that's a bad approach.
However,
It's time to start making mechanics account for the fact that 50%+ of the combatant population is a demigod. Bardic guards gank fliers, because there was no reason for flight to be immunity to a great many org defense structures. It's time for a guard to negate demigod perks so that cities don't go unguarded because of the futility of guards against demi warriors.

I'd rather just delete divinefire.

Delete divinefire against other players and guards. Leave Divinefire as a perk of demi (ability to get away from that stack of astral stuff). Or, leave it as a cosmetic (RP) ability, and drop the essence cost.

Divinefire against non-guards mobs please.
Aerotan2010-01-19 07:37:56
Yeah, just let guards hit through Grace, Innocence, Divinefire, forcefield, reflection, serpent, acrobatics, timeslip, demesne effects, circle, pentagram, parrying, stances, sulfur, salt, sugar, and daisy chains. Let the mage/druid guards yank people out of dreamform, let the guardian/wiccan guards punt ghosts out of the room, let the bardic guards strip truehearing, and let the monk guards afflict with powersap.
Not all of that was entirely serious, but I figured if it was worth doing...

Aerotan wants to nerf sugar!

And chains of daisies!
Aerotan2010-01-19 20:36:09
Yer darn skippy!
As an aside, Maylea's Gravity shrine should have the effect of tying down enemies with daisies.
