I would really like to see a trash can at the Cave of Chaos if the Wheel is a permanent addition, for present destruction.
Lendren2011-07-22 11:20:20
Better: make artisans able to make trash cans, then make it furnishable, and I'll put a trash can there.
Jack2011-07-22 15:12:35
Is that really necessary? You can just plonk items into nexii to destroy them.
Unknown2011-07-22 17:07:44
Yes, you can, but if you're getting someone who's buying artefact packages and getting hundreds of presents at a time (walked in and saw 150~ dropped on the ground) it would be nice to have one on the premises (speaking as someone who acquisitio'd 3-4 empty ones before turning it off). Trash cans in general would be nice, I think, for manses etc as a convenience/less server clutter type of thing.
Unknown2011-07-22 17:26:13
Keep the presents how they are. The current setup allows us to mail people a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a present in a presents.

Why don't you guys just message Tully if there's a mess that needs cleaning...if I'm around, I'll gladly take care of it.

No, it's not necessary. It would be ridiculous and almost pointless. But when you're an artisan, that's still a huge upgrade over most of what we can make!
Jack2011-07-22 20:37:16
Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favour of mechanically pointless updates, assuming they're sufficiently shiny. But are trashcans truly shiny enough?
Lendren2011-07-22 20:46:31
I'd sell more of them than I do of smalltables, sconces, chandeliers, drapes, rugs, fighting rings, stools, boxes, and baskets combined.
And they could be even better by just making it so they only empty at midnight; so you have a little time to change your mind after putting something into them. That makes them slightly more useful than the nexus, not just for where you can put them.

Or just make it so that the owner has to empty the trash, by rubbing it or something.
Ilyarin2011-07-23 00:31:09
I approve of that idea.
Ilyssa2011-07-23 03:26:54
If there was a glasses (not spectacles!) design, I bet you those could sell for artisans!
Please please oh pretty please.

Sounds more like a tinkering toy to me.

Made by artisans, enchanted by tinkerers! With new exciting spells! Ones that people actually want to buy!
Daraius2011-07-23 04:32:45
I agree. Somebody make a topic about tinkering enchantments for eyeglasses.

So it's probably been mentioned, but allowing someone with room perms in a manse (MANSE SET ROOM PERMS) to anchor their curios in the rooms they have perms for would be really nice.
A number of Lusternians have a room (or rooms) in a family manse (owned by someone else), but can't put their own curios in them, even though they can edit the descriptions and titles at will with room perms.
Have a tree... can't put it in my room.

Transfer it to the manse owner and have them anchor it?
But then it belongs to them, and you have to rely on them to remain active if you ever wanted to move it.

How about some kind of message/alert when a beast hits 1 hour of food left? I have a terminal case of not checking my beasts until they keel over, which gets a bit annoying. Some sort of reminder beforehand would be great.

Edit: A new skill that's something like "Your beast is so sentient that it is now able to tell you when it is about to starve." Please?

Why not just have special emotes at different levels of hungry? I think some sad, doleful eyes and a loud, rumbling belly should be enough.
