And have more designs with powerstones as comms, so when they're empty you don't just have to toss them in a nexus.
If figurines were made interesting, that would suck up the drained-powerstone market pretty fast.

That's my point. My idea would make them able to be actually used until they decay, not sit around forever with half a percent of reserves until you find the odd person who wants them, or you simply destroy them. I was just thinking how wasteful it's been. How much power I've literally thrown away with all those stones over time, because none of it was -individually- useful.

On the same subject, palettes that have enough paint left for something, but not for making or upkeeping paintings, are very annoying. Wish I could combine them or something.

Give them to your friendly neighborhood Tarot user.

There are no Tarot users in my neighborhood, let alone friendly ones!

I have a really kick-ass pipe design made with powerstone. It glows.

A CITYTELLS, COMMUNETELLS, GUILDTELLS, GNTELLS, CGTELLS and SHOWTELL for all of them. This would be AWESOME.

Idea: Remove the essence malus for distant ordermembers. They have it bad enough before having to give their stuff to a neutral person to offer to their deity.
The RP behind this aspect seems flawed- if Urazial (or another enemy of Maylea) offers a needle to Maylea, She gets the full essence for it. If Kinson (token member of Maylea's Order) offers an identical needle, she gets less than full for it.
(How does this make sense?)

Careful, they might leave the penalty and just put bigger penalties on unaffiliated people, and even bigger ones on enemied ones.

If Lendren weren't the crazy influencing machine he is, Maylea would be steadily losing essence. I hate to think what's it like for more diverse orders.

Does that not make sense? I don't get around their new stupid system. I offer like normal and take their retarded hit. Why people who've professed their loyalty to THAT GOD (Not the city that the god happens to like at the time.) would be worth less than Godless heathens, people who worship another, or worse, worship an enemy god is beyond me.
I say burn it up. Maybe once they stop all the ways around their affinity system more people will complain and they'll fix it.

I've heard from members of Isune's order that even with offerings, it's hard to keep up with the out-of-Celest members.

Keep in mind the following things:
1) Isune is not around and cannot use her essence.
2) When they replace her with a new God, they will almost certainly nuke her order and have her start over. This means that she will be reset to 0 essence anyways ("returning" new gods have low essence pools).
With those... does it matter if the drain is significant at this point? If you want to use shrine-powers without karma, offer a bit and use the power. Not so great in RP terms, but that's one of the issues of inactive Gods (trust me, I know how awful it can be).

How about a newbie achievement for voting on TMS?
Unknown2010-03-01 13:31:09
They can't do that.
Ssaliss2010-03-01 13:38:12
I think TMS has some rule that says that no in-game bonus can occur from voting.
Unknown2010-03-01 13:38:59
Right.
Aoife2010-03-01 14:43:31
Things like that also tend to cause PR problems - like the IRE credit promotion with Kongregate.
Sylphas2010-03-01 16:45:49
Can't they make it an achievement with no benefits?
