I mean, you can SAY three things in rapid succession, then you're made to wait a few seconds. Why not something similar with custom emotes?
90% sure it's time-based for how many things you can say in a row.
(try macro-ing "say I will NOT lead you to Avechna's Peak", and spam your macro, for an example of this)

There is a really long and fantastic selection of emotes in Lusternia, but I notice most people don't use custom emotes very often at all, and I get the feeling it's because of the eq cost.
I'm pretty sure it's just that the majority of the long timers have turned lazy.

For me it's more because of the way the full title appears. Even though I rarely use titles and keep them short and prefixless, it still gives the emote an inappropriately formal feel too much of the time. Sometimes I use illusions just to avoid the title.

That was my favorite thing about cr4+, being able to remove my title at will.

Does it make it not cost 50gp to remove it, too? I never bothered to figure out when I have to pay and when I don't, I just didn't bother to make an alias to strip/emote/add here.

The ability to see who has gotten which achievements... search by the achievement and return a list of those who have gotten it. Would be nice for some of the tougher ones, particularly people who want to be the first to get them (Spirit of the Hamadhi, here I come).

Stripping a prefix/suffix is free, setting one is 50g.

If you do ACHIEVEMENT GHGHSGHRGHEHGJS or something similar:
CODE
Usage: ACHIEVEMENT
      ACHIEVEMENT
      ACHIEVEMENT
      ACHIEVEMENT COMPLETED
      ACHIEVEMENT STATS
      ACHIEVEMENT
      ACHIEVEMENT RANKINGS
      ACHIEVEMENT WHO
      ACHIEVEMENT
      ACHIEVEMENT
      ACHIEVEMENT COMPLETED
      ACHIEVEMENT STATS
      ACHIEVEMENT
      ACHIEVEMENT RANKINGS
      ACHIEVEMENT WHO
Oh yeah, one thing that isn't obvious is that you can do ACHIEVEMENT STATS

It would be FABULOUS if public cartel designs were automagically added to the wiki, preferably with search functionality. And perhaps include some way for private cartels to opt in to the same treatment.

please? It'd make it a lot easier for crafters to do business...

Cataloguing the public cartel would need some constant IC annual monitoring. Heck, I do the Cooking cartel one on another project of mine and after just doing the initial outline, I burnt out a bit cause now I'll need to double check the public catalogue for things added while I was working on the initial list.
If you can find the manpower though, all the more power to you!

I was more thinking an automated system.

Not sure the wiki is connected to the game that way. Elsewise, the wiki volunteer folk wouldn't be needed, I think.
Lendren2010-04-14 12:33:57
It's not. All those skill listings are created and updated manually by me using a handful of zMUD scripty-things and EditPlus3 macros.
