A DMP command to show how many Damage Modifier Points we have in each damage type for both resistances and buffs.
Mirami2010-04-17 23:59:43
A skill for bonecrushers to knock down statues quickly.
EDIT: And a skill in knighthood to use a polearm (or other underused weapon) to take down paintings without damaging them.

Definately not for statues, seeing as they're defence things we shouldn't just allow one group of people a leg-up in taking them down.
Mirami2010-04-18 00:20:59
Unenchanted statues, maybe?

Honestly, unenchanted statues should be able to be taken down instantly by anyone.
Mirami2010-04-18 00:54:40
Perhaps use BlastHorn for that? BlastHorn seems useless enough already...

Ah! this would be so nice!

Dropping an item (excluding sigils) with a flame sigil on it should strip divinefire, prismatic shield, etc., and take a long balance. That wouldn't interfere with legitimate uses, while cutting down on infantile, petty acts of vandalism that only waste the time of the Divine who have far more important things to do.
Ardmore2010-04-18 19:23:31
I idea'd this but I'll also add it here.
In MKO, when you're following someone the in-game map updates as the leader moves. That should also happen here since a majority of the stuff done is with other people.

Ditto. Also when speedwalking, please.

When Lesk was active, I had him Flame his cauldron to prevent it being picked up when he did stuff with it. Mostly gathering shadows.

Better yet, just give org leaders the ability to kill stuff in org territory that has a flame sigil on it.
Save the Divine time without having to code exceptions all over the place that people will find ways to circumvent anyways.

I agree. Those cakes all over Ethereal Glomdoring sure are bothersome!

Already idea'd the 'make the map change when following someone' thing ages back, either no one actually READS ideas or they dismissed it. A shame, too.

Well, it is possible to do that yourself client-side. Please note that, having said that, I don't mean to imply that your idea isn't worth implementing! I just mean that there is probably a workaround.
It's pretty simple, really: Just make a trigger that activates on "you follow
I keep my Lusternia automap in a separate window from the main MUD output (where it updates automatically; the map is gagged from the main output), and I think that's the best setup for this workaround.
Note that I haven't actually tried this yet (the follow automap trigger), but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. I use CMUD currently, though, so I'm not sure about other clients.

That was, fortunately, recently (or not-so-recently) changed. I don't think you need a dropped cauldron for anything anymore.

This has always bothered me. When you step out of the Megalith, shouldn't you be trailing tainted smoke and soot, not sparkling motes of light shaped like butterflies?

Works fine, this is what I do.

I assumed that Lawliet meant the ATCP map, which would create unnecessary spam when following someone or speedwalking. It seems (to me, without having seen the code) that it would be an easy change to send that ATCP-message whenever the others are sent (the roomnum/exits etc are sent when you speedwalk, at least).
