1. I want the ability without a power cost.
2. Yes anyone could do that, but it's spammy and what if you just happen to lag for some time just as they break and have broken a number of rooms. (I've had some long lag at times.) Or even if they have multiple breakers. And not everyone can remember the exact names of each room in a meld.

Who has to remember? A couple aliases and a table and you can record them, and when you check DEMESNE check against the table, and have it display which rooms are missing, if indeed any are.

Demesne only display meld size, center, effects and their times. No rooms, to see what rooms are missing you'd have to go and look.

Hmm, well, you could still keep from having to remember what the room names were. Chalk this up to me not knowing demesnes really at all.

Keep demesne watch up. If they enter your meld twice without exiting it, they've probably broken a room.

I put up that report mainly because Druids already burn through a lot of power. Had hoped just to get that little cost cut off. Oh well.
And telling when somebody broke is easy enough, just do what Esano said.

This should be a simple enough idea:
RECHARGE CUBE FROM CUBE. You can pour from keg to keg, after all. The restrictions would be the same when it comes to runes.

The same reason I pour from keg to keg: to simplify shopkeeping. Instead of having to keep tabs on two cubes and charge them separately, I could get a third cube. All I had to do was to enter the stockroom, charge the cube there from the one in my inv and leave. Rince-repeat for other stockroom. Voila, my cubes in the stockrooms are always fully charged, and I only need to find an enchanter for one of my cubes.
EDIT: And for the non-shopkeeping kind: You could charge your personal cubes from shops instead of having to find an enchanter.

Only if we get an option to block out this ability from use in our shop. I'm not a fan.

no doubt.

What about artifact runes for cubes? Would they still get cut back to a normal amount of charges if you charged a non-enchanted cube, a la how kegs work?
Xiel2010-10-01 08:24:31
Can we Astrologers be thrown a bone and just be given a server-side Astrology readout with something like STARGAZE plz. Dandy as figuring out what rays do what and how spheres are currently in your own code, making it just more easily available without resorting to client-side code would be nice.

See above: The restrictions would be the same when it comes to runes.
This would likely have to be set aside for people charging the cube from the shop and not the stockroom, or it'd have the risk of become very costly.

Make it require permission damn it. IF I need permission to pierce someone, something that doesn't even show unless you chose to -wear- something, changing something with actual visible and mechanical significance like age should require at least an "AGREE"

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but the ability to see the power reserves of your powerstones and energy cubes at a glance would be nice. Could also include energy cubes... hmm.

I want to be able to group items by esteem in my inventory, pick up esteem items, and such. And something that lists esteemed items. It is a pain to look through 70+ needles for that one needle that isn't esteemed.

Only if the Sentinels/Institute get a command ala gemblock/fleshblock for ageing. Because if you make is require an AGREE than someone can just make an alt, age everyone that wants aged, quit guild and never play the alt again, just like someone could strip all the gems/flesh and then shove it in a nexus without gemblock/fleshblock.
