Can bookbinders create note-pads, for us to write in without having to sit down and write on a desk? For notes of what we see around us and what not..
I just emote pulling out a notepad, and then use Notepad. Mudlet actually has it's own notepad, and I also use Text Edit (Mac version of Notepad) for stuff like that.

How about giving bards the ability to play a scale of notes on their instruments instead of singing words during compositions? Without emoting that is.
So when one is creating a song that has a break in between, we don't need to fill it in with random words or transitions. Or it would allow for purely instrumental composition sets.
Or give others the ability to carry another player on their backs? Reduced movement speed, you could sprint at the risk of dropping said person while you run, causes similar damage to jumping out of the carriage but lower. Also larger sized people could toss or try to toss a smaller sized person in a direction. Goes past certain walls maybe? If there is a ceiling they would hit that and then fall? Larger races could toss smaller races further, drinking increases the chance the target might be tossed in a different direction.
Also could people who can burrow find more beasts underground that are either aggressive or passive? Same going with people who fly?
Also give people who have perfume the ability to spray it in someone's eyes, giving them temporary blindness and pain?
Also give people who are of smaller size the chance that they could walk underneath taller beings? A massive horse that's blocking an exit would be standing up, and that space should be enough for those who are size 4 and below to walk under.
And give the ability to specialize discounts to certain bins for groups?
And give people who own manses to be able to open up a bank in their manse (if it's big enough) with the fees going to the commune or city the manse owner is affiliated with?
And can someone give me a demonstration one time how to record lectures at the stages? Off topic but wondering..
And are there juices anyways? Apple juice and what not?

Yes. You can find them in manse fountains. FILL

Yes. You can find them in manse fountains. FILL FROM FOUNTAIN. They have no taste.
But.. but... why?
Lendren2010-10-18 11:15:39
The TASTE command has never really been filled in for non-crafted items in Lusternia. Potions still have the tastes that applied to Achaea potions that did different things.

Read Lendren's books, and watch my tutorial (and Ileein's lecture!) at the Hallifax stage.

I have a simple idea.
How about a real life month, or three, where no special event happens, no monthly promotion, no zomgwtf stuff.
This is a serious post. When you do these monthly events and promotions, you are making people except there to be stuff happening...

I agree monthly events and the like are cool. nothing wrong with em but when htey happen TOO often it starts to detract from the novelty of them... like the opening of new villages..... especially when theres so much stuff that still needs to be worked on in the game! like skills being worked on... family systems being redone.... i'm sure theres lots of bugs and ideas and things that people would like to see fixed or changed first before new stuff happens.

Simple idea: go back to the system where an org couldn't hold rival villages.

No events doesn't mean more bug fixes and changes. It's generally different admins who do the two.

Err... that system never existed. The only place it ever did was that if you held Angkrag you could not influence Southgard or Rockholm any more, but you were able to influence Southgard / Rockholm and then Angkrag even then.
Other villages you could hold as many of at a time as you were able to influence, it's always been that way.

This actually isn't true.
The mentioned system, between the dwarf villages and Angkrag, was in place, and it operated in both directions, however it was removed a very long time ago, as well.

It didn't actually operate in both directions, though; we were able to influence Southgard and then Angkrag after. But if we got Angkrag first, Southgard would stop talking to us.
Maybe it was supposed to! In practice, however, it worked the way I stated.
There was one time we had both. When we went to re-take them, some alt in Glom went to influence Angkrag while we were all fighting in Southgard. This resulted in us losing Southgard (despite being ahead in the influence) because they would no longer talk to us.

As much as I hate winning org momentum, I don't know if suddenly banning all opposite villages a la Domoths is the right thing to do. A lot of the 'opposites' are really ambiguous too - Talthos/Dairuchi, Rockholm/Southgard, Stewarts/Delport.
Also Glomdoring is going to have a permanent village for ever at the rate Rikenfriez is going.

Most of the promotions are IRE-wide, meaning that the Lusternia staff has no control over them. I don't mind special events and new stuff nearly as much, because the Admin put a lot of work into them, and most of the time they are very fun. It's the constant "Let's have metagame promotions!" from IRE that bug me the most.

I thought there was something in the code to make villages revolt a little faster if one org controlled a majority of them, but maybe the timing of the revolts was based more on quests, raids, and such.

I think they got rid of that in favor of having the villages revolt in predictable sets. It would be nice if having negative feelings still caused a village to revolt faster, but if only one village revolted at a time, it'd be a lot harder for the 'underdogs' to sneak in a village here and there.
EDIT: Nevermind, I see you're talking about something else, but my comment still stands.

Have a design contest to who can create the best design for the different juices in Lusternia that have no taste

Rikenfriez has been fixed, it's just waiting to be loaded to the live game.
As well, there's some changes for village feelings coming which should help address the 3 minute revolts.
