Added note: since this isn't likely to make any difference, remember what Vendetta pointed out. If one of us turns out not to be scum, what does that say about the other and his nearly-identical power?
Unknown2010-03-27 12:48:02
Dunno. I think Vendetta should be looked at. I forget who else is alive. Silferras, too. (ie not Tekora and Riluna since we know they are town. In my mind, anyway.)
Tekora2010-03-28 07:16:28
We'll look at Vendetta depending on how this result comes out. The important thing right now is to keep the game moving.

Ileein2010-03-28 11:46:00
Fine, let's move this along.

Vote: Ileein.

(Hint: I'll expect an apology afterwards. sad.gif )
Riluna2010-03-28 20:38:49
This game is weird. What is with people voting for themselves? Shaddus did that too huh.gif
Tekora2010-03-28 21:11:19
It's basically committing suicide by hammering the lynch on themselves. It happens when people believe they have no way to win.
Tekora2010-03-28 21:14:55
Oh, and Riluna. Can you do me a favor and please nightkill Silferras tonight? Felger is a VERY minor character and I'm not entirely convinced that he would show up in this game, especially when there are big names from the series that we've seen no sign of yet. As such, I don't particularly believe that claim and would like to follow through on my earlier suspiscions.
Ileein2010-03-28 23:57:43
Yep. I don't think I have any way to win and would like to prove my innocence as quickly and efficiently as possible: through incontrovertible mod evidence. Which can only come when I'm dead. Thus, a self-vote.

Plus I'd like to see the game move along.

Sick Of Force Fields Vote Count

Ileein (5): Gleip, Silferras, Solanis, Tekora, Ileein

---
Ileein sighs. "I'll do it." An awkward pause. "I expect an apology afterwards!"
Ileein takes a deep breath and straightens his shoulders before rushing headlong through the force field. His dead body has just enough momentum to hit the switch.

QUOTE ("Ileein's role")
You are Lindsey Novak, an engineer on board the Earth ship Daedalus. You're not entirely certain what has transpired, but you're going to do what you're good at.

Once a day, you may post to ASSESS KEY SYSTEMS, which may or may not do much depending on the situation.

You win with the Humans.

Vrrrn goes the power. ((Night Phase 4.))

Everyone scrambles for cover.
"Ow my foot!"
"Watch it!"
They all freeze in place as the lights return. A quick head count reveals no one has joined Ileein on the floor.

((It will take 4/7 to lynch on Day Phase Five.))

Flavour skill that doesn't do anything helpful at all? Yeaaaaaaaaah.

He really seemed off to me, the way he kept pushing for Tekora no matter what. His reasoning has always been incredibly poor, and I've got too thorough a scummy vibe from him.

Seeing as Gleip started this bandwagon, and seeing as he was 'getting a thoroughly scummy vibe', and seeing as it was a wrong scummy vibe...

I vote when I see concrete evidence. There was no concrete evidence here, that I can tell. With that in mind,

QUOTE (Gleip @ Mar 26 2010, 04:15 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
My name is Teyla Emmagan. Athosian from the First Atlantis Reconnaissance Team (terrible acronym). As I've tried to hint at earlier, I'm posing as a Wraith Queen, but since I've not received any contact from any other Wraiths, I'm thinking that there is no Wraith team to oppose the humans. I used that statement to hint at the ally I might have here, but it seems pretty clear that he's not here. So, without an ally, I can't do much but beat up whomever we decide to lynch.

I'm gonna go ahead and take a little risk here. I'm your investigator. Last night, I investigated Gleip, and he came up as aligned with the wraith. With that in mind, as well as the above for confirmation, I'm gonna go ahead and VOTE:GLEIP.
Arix2010-03-30 14:15:46
Dun dun DUUUUUN!
Unknown2010-03-30 14:24:38
It stands to reason that he'd appear to be Wraith aligned if he was, in fact, posing as a Queen for such. Whether we choose to believe the claim of appearance or not is another thing - I'm unsure of the flavour behind such a claim in the Stargate universe, or how likely it would be. Or the flavour of investigative power, for that matter.

Romertien, since you have revealed your role, it would seem to me that there's little reason not to divulge into the results of your previous investigations. Could you humour us with the results of those?

Things to consider:

Each scum we've pegged has certainly had some unique purpose or trick. We've had the multi-variety SK, a mafioso with a penetrating kill, and a mafioso that can appear innocent. Given our drop in mafia kills as of recent, who suspects that we might have an arsonist type remaining among us? Tekora explored a number of possibilities earlier, but this one never came up.

Additionally, we are up to five dead town types. Of those five, four are vanilla. We know that Riluna is a vig, and Tekora has some substantial backing for his one-time resurrection claim through her. Romertien has been revealed to not be vanilla, moreso pending additional investigation revelations. What is the likelihood of remaining roles being similarly vanilla, or having some sort of power?
Mirami2010-03-30 14:45:27
Lessee if I can remember everybody I investigated. Everybody I've investigated up to this point appeared to win with the humans.

Tekora, Vendetta are the two I remember for sure. I believe the third one was Furien. All three came up town.

It's certainly possible that there is an arsonist, since there was no mafia kill last night. I can also confirm that there is a roleblocker, as I targetted Silferras, as requested by Tekora. I'm thinking that it was likely mafia, wanting to keep their partner alive. I'm under the impression that sometimes mafia who have a choice between a night ability or a kill, can only do one or the other, so the lack of a kill could be that too. It's possible was a townie simply blocking me because they thought it would be a bad idea to kill her, but at the moment I think it unlikely, especially with what the townie/other group ratio seems to be right now.

Until there's some discussion on the topic to change my mind, Vote: Silferras

Also, I've never seen the show, and don't know any of these names. Could somebody who knows the mythos let me know if the Wraiths are bad guys?
Mirami2010-03-30 16:25:37
Every time I've seen a wraith in SG, it's attacking the good guys. Tekora should confirm this, though.
Tekora2010-03-30 22:46:15
If Riluna targetted Silferras, and was roleblocked, then there's a good chance that Silferras may be our blocker. If so, I'm sorry for having to out you, but at this point, we should be outnumbering the scum by a somewhat comfortable margin.

That said, I've had suspicions about Gleip ever since Day 2, not to mention that he led the train on Ileein.

And for those that remember, Gleip and Xavius were our lurkiest people on Day 1 before my prodding woke them up. We all saw how Xavius turned out.

Vote: Gleip

At this point, I'm going to assume that all our current townies are NOT vanilla, as there are some very big name protagonists that have not made appearances yet.
Tekora2010-03-30 23:07:42
Ok, I'm going to make this very simple. Time to end this.

Gleip and Solanis HAVE to be the last two scum. This is why.

--------------------------

Alive:
Riluna (formerly played by Eldanien) - Confirmed Townie Vig
Gleip - Suspected Scum
Romertien - Claimed Investigator Townie
Silferras - Suspected Roleblocker
Solanis - ?????
Tekora - Claimed/Demonstrated One-shot Reviver Townie
Vendetta Morendo - Claimed/Demonstrated French Vanilla Townie

-------------------------

So far, we've killed three scum, 2 Replicators and 1 Lost Boy. At this point, I think it's safe to assume that this game is more Atlantis flavored than SG1, so I'm counting out a Goa'uld appearance. That leaves the Wraith and the other Lost Boy.

Gleip claimed to be posing as a Wraith Queen. Romertien investigated him and came up as scum. He also led the train against Ileein.

As for Solanis, he's just been too damn quiet. This says to me that he's hiding something, probably his identity as the other Lost Boy.

It's a process of elimination. Everyone but Gleip and Solanis have done something that vindicates them to some degree, though I'd very much like to see Silferras come out and confirm her role as blocker and tell us who she's been targetting, as she's the only person among us that I only consider suspected townie.

But as for today, we should vote out Gleip and have Riluna kill Solanis. If I'm correct, we win. If not, I'm convinced that we'll get at least one of the scum, and we have one more day to find the last one.
