There were a lot of lucky guesses this game. And I don't ever want to play on a scum team with Shaddus again, that was far too easy for town
Kiradawea2010-04-01 11:19:52
There were a few clues I noticed regarding Xavius though. If someone hints at having counter-kill powers or nightkill immunity, most commonly are they either survivor or serial killer, since those powers are usually far too powerful to be in the hands of scum and town. Either that, or they're a scum, trying to explain how they keep surviving night after night.

Everyone wanted to kill me.

Hmph.
Fun game!
Fun game!

It really didn't help to have the three scummiest people as scum and one of the most-often-killed-early guy as the SK. I learned from one of my games that Xavius in a solo scum or town role tends to lead to people lynching OR killing him really early, leading to a sad, Xavius-less end. He's just that threatening, I guess!

Would have helped if I'd remembered that I'd tested Solanis night one
Oh well! good game, everybody.

It's funny, because the vast majority of my roles have been town, but when I am scum, I'm the godfather half the time

It's funny, because Silferras claiming to have roleblocked Gleip during night two, when we had two deaths was what gave me relative certainty that he was town... but that was a lie.
It also seems to be our good fortune that mafia didn't kill anyone actually useful in town. Town lynched the jailer, and... the rest were pretty much vanilla.
This is the first game I have survived to the end in! Maybe next game I'll try for more aggression.
EDIT:
Hey, wait. What was Nejii's role? I want to know what Jacks was!

This is why I prefer night starts, you can kill someone, and nobody knows who to blame because there isn't a day before hand where you can make assumptions based on who was arguing with whom. The exception being any game in which both Celina and I play, in which case the death of one is almost always blamed on the other, usually with good reason. (lolchainsaw)

You did well. It was just that logically, there could be no scum left but you. So don't worry. You did good.

Damn my scum aura. I wasn't even being scummy and I died.

How many times do I have to say it? You tried to derail my efforts to get the game moving by getting some pressure on some inactives. I didn't even suspect you until you kept dogging me and made me come after you. THAT'S what gave you away.

I'm gonna have to agree with Tekora. You were even scummier in this game than usual. Then again, most people played poorer than they usually do. Still, it was a fun read. Once more, thanks for the game.
