Geez Phoebus is too adorable, and drawn so awesomely too!

Ohh those are really nice. I wasn't visualizing Phoebus with short hair/feathers before.

Drawing my chimaera, Loxias. Sans wings. With any luck I'll have this ready for artisanals before the deadline.

...Ignore the really terrible looking paw there. Animal feet confound me.

On second thought I should totally just drop it all and submit this MSPaint mouse drawing instead.

The two hind feet just look wrong to me. Especially the one further into the painting. The angle doesn't look right.

Could you explain a little more than "doesn't look right"? It doesn't help me fix things if I don't know quite how they need to be fixed in the first place.

They look fine to me.

The hooves don't look parallel to the part of the body they are attached to. The closer one probably isn't off, but the back one really stands out to me, because it looks to be pointing directly to the left.

His liony face is quite handsome, though. I hope you're still practicing your lobos, too.

The head looks awesome, but somehow the body doesn't look big enough. Like it's not beefy enough or something.

Unno what it is about the face but it looks very..kind to me. It's a'pposed to be vicious and Narina Lionish ( I forgot the name.). And the legs need a tad more muscle definition. Annd the ears seem really kittenish.

It's the eyes. Half-lidded eyes as opposed to open or slitted eyes with a furrowed brow.

It looks good, the legs just don't look appropriate to the body. They should be more muscled, imo, and the hooves are a little.....plain? But still, you should finish it!

That's cause Loxias is a big kitty. A death kitty.

But yes! It's not done! This is just a sketch. I can't do super-detailed pencil drawings to scan because my scanner sucks and eats all my hard work up. So he is simple yet. But assuming I get off my keister in the next 24 hours and make him pretty, he will be done in time for artisanals.
