The demigod is going to get subpar essence gain while using up cures. Very few people are going to be willing to do this.

And no gold? I might be willing (I hardly need essence!) if there's something in it for me, whether that's fun, or gold, or something.

Nah, what we need is some new modules.

Self-Destruct Module
- Once activated, the ship will count down for ten minutes on SHIPT before imploding.
- Self-destruct can be reversed for five minutes only.
- Activating and deactivating require a short quest. (Use PUSH and PULL a lot.)

Lifeboat
- Can only be activated while the self destruct module has been activated.
- Transforms into a one-room ship with command chair but no flashpoint ability.
- Is that a slivven hiding inside that duct? Nah, it can't be.

To address some legitimate concerns, I'm thinking of a 5 ship power skill that creates an aura around the ship which will prevent parasites from infesting a ship. However, any use of a turret module will destroy the aura.

How are vortexes these days? Are vortexes forming and sticking around for some time or are they going "poof" in too short a time (which would be a bug). I'll be playing around with tweaking their rate of formation today. We want a happy medium!

A quick jaunt to Ethereal space shows that its still in the no vortices are being spawned at all mode. So yeah. Really can't determine if vortices are lasting a decent amount of time when they're not popping at all.

That is actually a pretty good idea. Just be sure to stick it somewhere in the middle. Around Master (like Glide) or a bit lower would be my suggestion. I'm also thinking it ought to be tied to the Command module, or be triggerable while docked if you'll be sticking it at the empath module.

Perhaps it could also have an upgraded boost that will protect from ranged beast attacks completely? Those are still quite a hassle when flying smaller scouting ships to bubbles. I mean, sure there's the trans Commander and Empath skills, but thoose are short and not stopped by firing a gun.

Definitly stuck to command chair, and probably a lot lower since the main purpose is just to allow you to explore aspace. should add the ranged protection to the same skill and raise it to 10 power.
