Regarding demigod shop, that isn't even on my radar right now. Ask me after we release the next guilds! As an update, we are at the point where we can basically release the knight guilds at any time. However, I still would prefer to release the guardian guilds first and will make that decision at the end of the month whether that will be doable or not.

You should release the knights now... and at the end of the month you can release the Guardians!

Estarra approved the idea, and it was even one of the choices for what they should focus on developing back in October. It didn't win, and apart from the forlorn hopes of the demigods, it hasn't come up since. But it did have the official Estarra stamp of approval at one point.

Well, don't pin me to anything specific. I approved looking at demigods as a something we are certainly willing to focus our resources on at some point!

Whichever comes out, I hope that the wait for the third guild is fairly short. No months long, artificial wait period for the sake of dragging it out, please!

I hope that if the guardians are going to get finished in time, the warrior guilds will be opened at around the same time. We've waited long enough.

Yeah, even if it is just "you can't open the next till you have the power" so once we do it's just "yay opentime!" I think this one guild thing is causing a slow death, at least in Gaudi. There is only so long you can be excited about a one guild city. People keep drifting away to play alts or just move to have a guild choice.

You're absolutely positive that this is not just part of the "too many organizations" effect? Everyone's a bit thin, I think, and that's even without the new guilds.

Yes, I know some people have switched to alts and moved to Mag so they can play something other than a mage and we have had a noticeable population drop.

I don't remember if it said "essence shop" or was more specific about the "extra tradeskills for essence" option, but it was definitely in the poll and took second or third place, as I recall.

EDIT 2: And, after reading it again, I might've misunderstood. It says "Ascendants/Ascendancy System (incl. essence shop/extra tradeskills)", so make of that what you will.

It was second place by an extremely small margin, far and away ahead of all the other options.

If by "extremely small margin" you mean 24.52% versus 33.55% (or 38 votes against 52), then yes

I don't count those last 10 or so votes because they all came at the very end when it was obvious that's where it was going anyways (the interested people had all voted, then some random folk just came up and voted for the "top option").

For the three days the poll ran the numbers were neck-and-neck (with the Demigod shop winning for most of it).

I believe that if you do read the thread, you'll see some posts in there "despairing" that the Demigod-shop was winning, in fact.
