I'll admit, the sudden loss of ego was a little jarring, but my newbiekicks and jabs are more powerful, so I don't mind. Maybe I can try out Merian, or human now!
Too late, it was just undone.
I lost strength.

Me too.
Don't worry, it will all work out when they finish redoing monk/warrior weapon stats so that all weapons are the same, and the only difference is in how they look.
Shyshaeia2010-04-01 23:04:23
Wow, this change is really intense!

It's still not fair because I still have racial vulnerabilities.
EDIT: Nevermind, I see that this will be addressed later in the week.

No. No faking my message with ninja editing, I find this ENTIRELY in line with how the admins would handle things. You introduce things out of no where that affect the whole of the player base and act with indignant suprise when there are negative reactions.

Your stats return to normal.
A booming voice in your head says, "Ha! Ha! April Fools!"
Lol. If you didn't see this coming, you're a nub.
Nice one, Sior.

It's not April 2nd everywhere in the world yet! This should still be a secret.
That got me today in Lusternia, even though I've been expecting April Fool's pranks all day... exactly because I'm a newbie and have no idea what the hell is going on half the time.
I got my housemate today after he came home from work. I strolled in casually after dinner (when I normally get the mail) and asked, "Don't you usually park your car at the front of the driveway?" When he replied in the affirmative, I widened my eyes and said, "It's not out there, bro. Are you sure you didn't park it on the street instead?"
Hook, line, and sinker... classic.

I got a classic April Fools quiz in a class today-- took all of 10 seconds to read and complete, since the instructions said "Read all questions carefully first" and the last question was "Write your name on this quiz and nothing else. Then turn it in." Completely expected it, but it was still fun.

Credit must be given where credit is due.
Well played, gents, well played.

I think the part I enjoy most about these kinds of changes is how pleased everyone is with them on the forums afterwards.

My hopes got up for all of a few moments, before I remembered it was the 1st.

Haha, I got that same joke test in a science class a few years back. There were only three people (including me) who didn't fall for it. Our reward for reading comprehension was being allowed to leave early.
