Speaking on activity, has Shiri really been all that inactive, you think? It seems about on par to me, though I'm thinking more in terms of post-count rather than post content. I suppose he's being less investigative, maybe?
Who are we waiting on, really? Eldanien, who might still be catching up? Saran, Shulamit?

I'm here, been caught up and paying attention. I'm just not convinced enough to vote. =/
I suppose I could flip a coin between the two just to get the game going, but that seems kind of meh.

Yes, I think that's a way to put it. Less investigative. Although, I only ever played one game with him. Heh
And yes, I'd like to hear more from Saran, Eldanien, and Shulamit.

Eldanien dont be like that.
Formulate some thoughts, think about what you think is best, and go for it. Dont be an indecisive magikarp, flopping about uselessly.
Why sign up if you feel that way? You dont have to be convinced, you are your own person. Make up your OWN MIND using reason, your gut, intuition, osmosis, whatever.

Unrelated but, I think I'll add this to my sig. Magikarps make me smile.

We really should be ignoring powers when it comes to who we should lynch or not, except in very specific instances, such as waiting for Saran to use his investigation, or me to use my smash. After all, what's to say that all our investigators are scum? That's pretty possible in a mafia like this.

behavioral analysis > role analysis
always.
This is all the evidence I need from Tekora.
Tekora seems to be under the assumption that I was egging someone on to hammer Gleip before he could use his power. And that since he did, he is absolved from that responsibility because I said it would be ok. Thats basically what he is saying here. I wanted Gleip to use his vig, I really did. I was genuinely asking for some patience and discussion, not some LOLIHAMMERU action. Everyone who has played with me knows how stringently I am against ninja-lynches and all their forms. I hate them. I think everyone should be given a chance to defend him or herself to the best of their ability before the lynchtrain annihilated their existence. Its not the actual hammering that bugs me, its the manner that he went about it, its the fact that the vig was not used.
Tekora's lynch on Gleip was crude and against everything I stand for. For him to say that somehow I supported that action is just ludicrous, like the rapper.

You should really try to remember what you posted a week ago before trying to draw heat to someone for something you supported at the time. Hurf durf.

I'm done arguing. If you all can't see that Balizar's just bullshitting to cover for his obvious screwup, then there's nothing I can say that will change your minds. This game has just been another example of you all sitting on your thumbs and being lazy while you wait for Shiri/Daganev/Xavius/me to do all the hard work. Then you all fall in line like good little sheep. Town deserves to lose this game and I hope they do. Maybe it'll finally teach you all to start playing Mafia properly.
One last thing. Remember that arsonist we have buzzing around here somewhere? Yeah, you might want to be sure to use Kiradawea's power on Day 3. Why? Because I'm 95% sure that the Arsonist's targets will be Shiri, Xavius, Balizar, and me. Why do I think this? Because without us, the town is helpless, for reasons outlined above. So trust me on this one. Smash on Day 3 if you want a chance to win.

I do have to agree with Tekora's above post. We do need to wake up and get going and not act like sheeple and wait for others to figure stuff out. Those that are sitting on the fence, lean one way or the other and go with it.
Kiradawea2010-04-21 23:11:39
It's true on principle, but wrong in execution. Bali, Tekora and Shiri has been very poor leaders in this game. Xavius has done a decent job, but it's foolish to deny that some people are improving. Especially Siam, who's gone on to actually make a good analysis. Well done kiddo.

Seeing as this is the first time I've played with you, I'm torn between concluding you're very, very, very aggressive or you're very, very, very aggressive.
And about that arsonist, I'm thinking he/she would appear to be the most jumpy when it comes to voting. Jumpluff.Jumpluff. Jumpluffing from one train to the next. OR he/she could be one of those who've barely posted. Hum. Hum.

Remember what happened with the last smalltown game around here (or read it up if necessary). I'd expect the same to be attempted again.
Kiradawea2010-04-22 09:03:54
Yeah. In that game, the arsonist didn't use her power until I used my Aqua Rake, instead using her power to make her appear town.

Please lynch Tekora. He's in scumdepressionmode. Kill it with fire.
Why do you expect leadership? Do you really think that makes for good play? What does this post accomplish?
Why is this game so dead? Why sign up if you aren't going to play? ':<

Tekora would be easy enough to check later. Tekora being aggro does not outweigh real observations.

It compliments Siam for taking the time to try and analyze the game basically. Credit goes where credit is due.

Oh, and Bali wouldn't be "easy enough to check later"? Nevermind the fact that the lynch train on Bali is far shakier as it amounts to "he spun Siam", with little actually being added to that. This is especially bothersome, because anyone with a degree in hobby psychology would know that Siam wouldn't be blocked this night. Me maybe, but Siam was far away from the minds of everyone.
Tekora on the other hand has been pulling things out of thin air and trying to make it appear solid. He's attacked everyone on the flimsiest of reasons and fully admitted that he wanted to kill me on night one. You know, our best protectiong against the arsonist's power. Nevermind that the whole train yesterday has been conveniently dusted away under the carpet, little has been done to explain the hammering except "he's aggressive", ignoring the fact that Gleip was aggressive too, but far less dangerous due to the nature of one kill every night versus one kill every other day.
In fact, Tekora would be far less "easy to check later", because if Tekora is scum, no matter what type of scum he is, he makes that group far more dangerous than what Bali would. Bali's power is the worst power the arsonist can get. Tekora's power is one of the best. Bali protects his partner from roleblocks and tracking (notice who got eliminated?) while Tekora gives the scum team an extra kill at night.
And indeed, share with us these so positively real observations you've got. What do you see that is so very damning in regards to Bali? So damning you feel comfortable conveniently brushing over a defenseless lynch.
