If we lynch Shiri and find out he's town, Saran will have just lynched himself. It's a pretty bold statement and I'm inclined to trust it.

Someone might want to work out the math from here and consider whether a keystone smash would be in order. Yeah, I'm guessing that was a bad attempt at indicating that he investigated me that was almost vague enough to have plausible deniability when he turns out to be wrong. Not sure why he went for it this early.

That didn't look like he's talking about any of his other powers so I am forced to conclude lies, since it can't have been Gleip and it wasn't me redirecting (and I don't think it could have been Komachi). Vote: Saran.

On second thoughts, if Saran is scum he might be counting on getting rid of as many interference powers as he can early to increase his endgame chances, and that means that since he's sacrificing himself tomorrow if he lynches me today (knowing that he can't claim redirection) so he's probably Suwako. So we probably want our most expendable townie to save their vote for last.

Now everyone please note, at no stage in the quoted has Shiri actually defended himself against the accusation.

If we consider Shiri and Tekora a team, especially given that Tekora talked about mafia not using their power to night kill, then Shiri could easily be claiming to block Tekora when in actual fact they are just not using their night powers. This lulls the town into the sense of security, but consider what would happen if the scum suddenly performed two night kills.

A nice strategy would you not say?

If the scum performed two nightkills, and Tekora was one of them, Tekora could claim to be a vig...which is why he said he wouldn't nightkill in the first place, which is why I thought it was safe to aim him at himself so he would die if he was lying.

I don't even need to say that I'm not scum for it to be the default point of view everyone reading my posts should expect me to hold, even if they think I'm lying. This only matters if you have to worry about truth-reading powers or something which we obviously don't have. Bad aggro stirring attempts!

With you and Tekora claiming to constantly be performing the same actions of redirecting and not killing the town may think you are trustworthy. If this was maintained up until the final days you could knock two town out at the end to win quite easily.

That is, until we had Shiri show up after having spent the last half of yesterday doing a whole lot of nothing, then coming back just to try and block me and have the town waste more night actions like in Night 1. We needed to make a night kill last night, because we're running out of time we have left until the arsonist decides to pull the trigger. Now we're 4 townies down and none the better for it.

That's the hard evidence against Shiri. Never mind Saran's damning claim against him. That's just icing.

We might be safe from the arsonist actually, we have limited reason to believe they're even using their setup power instead of applying cover. Especially because Kira hasn't dropped her thing yet so they know it's just going to be for nothing.
