Whaaaaat? There's neither rez nor death-recovery skill in Aeonics?
I call shenanigans. That's something everyone else has. (Except maybe Gaudi.) Aeonics would be so easy to include a rez, though. Just turn back time in the target's local area so that he's alive again, ta-da!
The concept of the Sentinels is ridiculously awesome, though. Mad props for that.

I thought the Sentinels were a guardian guild when I first read the description. The Halli guardian guild as time detectives would be sweet. Time warriors is good too, but a warrior just doesn't do the detective thing as well.
Also... are the dominators from the basin's apocalyptic future when Kethuru finally gets us? Maybe they're the last life form and have gone back in time to escape Kethuru and DOMINATE us. That would be sweet!

I liked my version better. If they're from the past why aren't they dinosaurs?

They're from the past as shock troopers of the soulless

that's what they thought, it might not be true. Yay for time magic

If the admins want to answer, I am curious as to why we didn't get a res skill.

There are some concepts of time manipulation that brutish warriors cannot grasp.

If I'm not mistaken Glom guilds don't get any rez skills but life goes on.

But... it doesn't go on... that's why they're upset!

Not everyone gets a 'rezz' skill, you know. For the longest time Magnagora and Glomdoring didn't - and it can be argued, they still do not.
Unknown2010-04-04 04:59:54
I could be wrong, but is the Serenwilde rez skill "die to rez them?" It's a little early to complain don't you think?

Crow can give eggs now that actually last a semi-decent amount of time. More of a "death mitigator" than a rez skill, but eh, it exists.

Pre-emptive in away, and this was done to address the perceived imbalance of them not having any mitigators wasn't it?

If that is the case of why it was changed, then Gaudi and Halli should both get a skill to mitigate death.
Rodngar2010-04-04 05:11:12
I wish we could get inducted, since the Templars are severely lacking in founders. Instead, we're.. sorta just sitting here while Hardari fools around with us. By no means is it a bad thing - it's sort of fun in a silly sort of way.

The point pretty much, if not everyone should have some form of death mitigation then why is it that this was not decided until 4 of now 6 orgs have such abilities.
Though this may be premature, there could be some reason for them being in the guardian specs though this seems unlikely.

I believe it's to stop 100 randoms from running in and trying to join. Would be nice though if the admin could set an object up that will induct specific people from a list once only, though potentially difficult to prog.
Rodngar2010-04-04 05:16:07
That is a very good reason, I can't deny. I like how Hardari asked specifically for people who are established citizens or older players - no novices. It ensures that the founders aren't 10 18 year olds.

You could be wrong indeed.
